I have lived in the same home my entire life. My parents built the home about four years before I was born. When my father was getting ready to pass away he passed the home on to me even though I was not yet married. I cherish the home so much! It is large, however it still feels homey. When my hubby as well as I started dating, I let him know that the home belonged to me, as well as we decided that we would stay there even after we were married. It has been seventeen years since he moved in, as well as I still cherish the aged house. Last winter, the fireplace in the home started having some complications. My hubby tried to fix it, however it was filling the home with smoke as well as soot. My buddy and I had to stop using it which was really taxing for me. I have so many memories of resting on my dad’s lap next to that fireplace listening to him study or sing to me. He had all of the plans arranged, but I guess the contractor came in as well as for some reason said that they would not be able to install a current fireplace separate from doing a lot of work which would cost quite a bit more than my hubby had to spend.
