I am a southern girl at heart.
I was born plus raised down south, plus I cannot tell you how much I miss living down there. I used to hear northerners talk about southern hospitality, plus I never absolutely understood what they meant until I moved up north with my hubby. There is absolutely such a thing as southern hospitality, plus I miss it greatly. There is just one thing that I miss more than southern hospitality plus that is hot weather. I mean eighty-five to ninety-five degree weather. I thought that my blood would thicken when I moved north plus I would get used to the cold, but I have not yet. My hubby likes the cooler weather up here, but I just cannot handle it actually well. Because my pal and I have unusual temperature preferences, my pal and I cannot seem to agree on how often to use our air conditioner. My hubby prefers to use the air conditioner from May through September. I cannot know it because it is only about fifty-five degrees in May, plus the same once September comes around. That is winter time weather to me. I entirely do not want to use the air conditioner when it is that cold, but my hubby thinks it is hot enough to use it then. I can usually convince him to leave the air conditioner off plus just open the windows until about the yesterday of May. Once it gets higher than sixty degrees, he has to have the A/C on. I usually just wear a hoodie around the home plus try to stay warm. Maybe someday, my pal and I will agree about running the air conditioner or not.
