My husband and I have lived in the same house ever since we were first married, and it does not have a garage.
My husband loves to work on cars and small engines.
He cannot do it as much as he would like though because he does not have a garage. I watch him lying out on the rocks under vehicles trying to fix them, and I wish so badly that I could build him a garage. We are getting close to having the money saved up to build him his two story, four car garage. Until then, he keeps his tools and small engines in a little shed outback. It is definitely not enough space, but he keeps it organized, so he can still get things done. He has been trying to heat the shed for some time now. He tried just putting some little electric space heaters out there, and they did warm up the shed a bit, but it was not warm enough for him. He needs it to be at least fifty-degrees so that his fingers are not stiff. Last week, he went through a insulated the shed. He used some sort of foam insulation to do it. He is hoping that the insulation will keep the shed from losing as much heat as before. We had a small, propane heater that we used to put in our basement, and he is planning on trying to use that to heat the shed. He is almost positive that the propane heater will do the trick because it puts off quite a bit more heat than the electric space heaters do. I hope he can heat his shed, but I cannot wait until he has a heated garage to work in.
