I gave up my nice window air conditioner, but I am not sad about it.
I would have loved to keep that nice window air conditioner, but I didn’t really need the window air conditioner anymore.
I have used that window air conditioner ever since I bought the house. The house didn’t come with a central air conditioner, and I saved a ton of money. I didn’t want to install the central air conditioner until I did the remodel that I was saving for, so I bought a window air conditioner for the main room since I spend most of my time there anyway. I bought a really nice window air conditioner because I planned to use it a lot. Now, I finally finished the remodel, and I have a working central air conditioner. I was going to keep the window air conditioner just in case something happened to the central air conditioner, but a new need came up. My elderly parents don’t have an air conditioner, and they have never wanted one. However, apparently, they are having some health problems, and it is making it hard for them to break. The humid air is difficult, and the heat is killing them. The doctor told them that they need to buy an air conditioner, but they are on a fixed income, so I knew that they wouldn’t be able to buy an air conditioner anytime soon. I decided to give them my window air conditioner to help out. I would do anything for my parents after they gave up their independence to provide for me.
