I have been dealing with a major issue in my home since winter began and if I have to talk to another contractor I am going to scream and pull my hair out.
My heating system stopped working right when temperatures dropped below freezing and it has been chaotic for me to figure out the problem.
I have spoken to at least four heating technicians this week to try and determine the issue over the phone because they aren’t able to come to my home. I have been having heating issues for a week and a half now and have been running my space heaters like crazy. Luckily I work out of the house so I am not in the cold all day, but it stinks to not be able to come home to a working heater at the end of a long work day. My coworker offered that I stay in her home until the heater gets fixed, and I honestly may take her up on it. I don’t really understand how people run these businesses when they refuse to schedule an appointment with me. I go out into the cold everyday to go to work, and none of them want to come to my home to fix the issue. I understand that it must be a busy season for them and the demand is high, however, I would at least feel better if they had me on the schedule so that I knew help was on the way. I feel like that is the very least they could do. I guess I’ll just be stuck until I hear back from someone.
