Another way to save money on your heater is to ensure that the furnace filters and air filters are cleaned and replaced as needed. When the filters are clogged, it causes the heater to work extra hard to push forced air through and that will directly reflect only your energy bill. These tips may seem simple or self explanatory, but you would be surprised how much these tips can make a big difference. A lot of people don’t even know these simple strategies, so I try to explain them as if someone is brand new to the topic. I definitely think there is something we can learn about systems in our home. I know that I have a lot to learn about owning a home, so I’ll take all of the knowledge we can get. For example, I want a pool but know nothing about caring for one.
