They keep the air conditioning turned down too low

I just joined the gym a couple of months ago, and so far I liked the place for the most part.

The only thing that I don’t really like about it is the fact that they keep the air conditioning settings way too low for my taste. It seems like everyone else there really likes the fact that it’s so cold, but I just don’t think that it’s a good idea to have your thermostat setting so low when you are actually trying to break a sweat! I personally think that gyms should be a lot hotter inside than they actually are. It would make sense to have the heating running inside of a gym, but not the air conditioning. I guess some people really just think that the air conditioning needs to be on during the summer but that just doesn’t make any sense to me at all. Aren’t people going to the gym planning on getting hot and sweaty anyway? Why put off the inevitable? I just don’t understand it. I do enjoy going to the gym and working out. I think that they have great programming and I really like the sense of community that they seem to have there at this gym. I have never had that at a gym before. I think that it’s really important. However, this whole thing with the air conditioning is just confusing to me. During the summer, the air conditioning settings inside of the gym seem to be really cold. The last three times that I have gone to the gym, I haven’t even broken a sweat for the first 30 minutes because the air conditioning settings are so low.
