The way things have been going with my mom and sibling, I knew that I was going to have to get way more involved.
- It’s that time in life where my mom is in her mid 60’s and needs so much more help.
I live about 9 hours away and in a region where the main difficulty is HVAC cooling. But my mom and sibling both deal with a Wintertime that demands fantastic HVAC machine heating. My sibling and mother both use a propane heating machine in their residences. And they practically live across the street from each other. That’s the rub. My mom leans on my sibling too much and feels entitled to whatever she asks for in time and energy from either of us. I’m not leaving the sort of Wintertime where the heat pump comes on only a handful of times. I’m completely done with snow, ice and cold Winter Times. But my sibling just couldn’t carry on alone dealing with our mom. So I invited them down in the middle of the warmer months to settle this thing a bit more. I was honestly hoping to be in my beach residence with my HVAC cooling to show my mom that living here in the Summer is quite nice. It’s entirely great that you can adore the outdoors in the afternoons and the evenings. And I wanted to be on my beach residence lawn when I advocated that all of us replace the HVAC machine in my mom’s beach residence and then sell it. Then, I wanted my mom to move down here where I could look after her and supply my sibling a break. It was going to be a pretty hard conversation so being in my own HVAC cooling was necessary.
