Easy transition to my maternity sabbatical from the air conditioning business

I was overjoyed when the doctor announced that we were expecting twins. We have been hoping for children since we got married six years ago. I would work until the eighth month before starting my maternity leave. I work as a cooling workman at the local air conditioning business. Until I was about five months pregnant, I would take part in air conditioning install and air conditioning tune-up jobs. My boss came into my office after we had completed an air conditioning repair job on an indoor air cleaning system. He asked how I was doing with my pregnancy and if I needed any assistance with work. He then politely requested that I take a back seat and work from the office until I left for my leave. Though I didn’t particularly appreciate being stuck in the office, I understood him that the company would be responsible for any injury I sustained while on a ladder replacing air filters or doing any other standard cooling product job by an air conditioning expert. I understood that the company did not provide insurance for pregnant ladies because the insurance companies argued that if insured, it would cover two parties, the mother and child. The company thought this was expensive and risky. For the rest of my pregnancy, I dished out air conditioning service jobs to my team of cooling techs and then later reviewed them for quality. I took advantage of working from my desk and had my colleagues replace my HVAC unit with a central air conditioning unit. When I started my leave, I had cleared my desk, there were no pending issues, and I had a new air conditioner to provide quality indoor comfort for my new family and me.
