There were so several people in the house, I turned off the gas furnace.

Last year every one of us had a mild December.

When our annual Christmas get-together came up, every one of us had so several people in the house, that every one of us turned the gas furnace off.

There were people milling around in the study room, study room, and study room, and drinks were flowing, and the kids were chasing each other. The two of us tried to put them in the basement, but it wasn’t working. After several minutes, it was getting so hot, even with the gas furnace turned off, that people were beginning to go outside. I looked out and our brother-in-law and hubby had the grill turned on. They were kneeling there with their hands over the open flame, trying to stay warm. I asked why they didn’t come in the house, and they talked like it was planned. They didn’t want to listen to the noise and gossip that pretty much everyone else was spouting. I left them alone after giving them a couple more drinks and closed the door behind me. When our sister asked where her hubby was, I pointed outside. That night, when people were heading home, I went to turn the gas furnace back on. When nothing happened, I was distraught. I thought that turning the gas furnace off was a bad idea, but several minutes later, it must have finished going through its cycle and it started to spew heat out of the air vents. As much as every one of us didn’t need the gas furnace while people were there, it was a necessity when they weren’t. My hubby came in and asked why I turned the gas furnace on, and I rolled our esure. I told him the North Pole would feel hot after kneeling outside in just a lightweight flannel shirt.
