I am still a bit “up in the air” about if I am going to be able to go lake house for Christmas this year.
It kind of depends on how the market goes over the next couple weeks as my money is tied up in there and it is way down right now.
I easily don’t want to touch it now because I will lose a lot of dough, especially if it goes back up before Christmas as I’ve seen happen many times. Maybe people get gleeful around then, as the holidays are approaching rapidly, and spend more money on things such as about stocks and bonds for Heating and Air Conditioning companies and other tech sectors… The local AC suppliers usually get busier and people fall in debt care about they did the year before. Luckily, I have no more credit debt and my job at the cooling contractor pays all of my monthly bills. I don’t ever want to be in debt again after all the debt I accrued various years ago from spending too much. I was buying Heating and Air Conditioning systems and new cars and all kinds of things for my lake house that I easily didn’t need. I know it was just out of sheer boredom from working at the same Heating and Air Conditioning company year after year and never growing as a woman. Now I focus more on doing things I care about instead of spending on mini split A/C units in the middle of the winter. I would buy them in the Winter and know that I could use it the following summer, when in reality I never did use it. I think both of us learn as we go along.
