Over the past two years, the plumbing had been nickel and diming me to bankruptcy.
I had to buy all new pipework and get it installed. I was hoping to find plumbing services near me, but I was unsuccessful. My wife kept asking what she could do to help? I told her before I went to work that if she found plumbing services near where we lived, I would appreciate it. She should make an appointment for the plumber to come to the house when I was home. I didn’t know if she would find a plumber, but I was hoping she did. My biggest nemesis was plumbing. I not just hated to do plumbing, but it was the only thing that got the best of me. I would rather jump into a pool of hungry alligators than work with plumbing. She called me at work that afternoon and asked if it would be okay if the plumber showed up around 8 AM Saturday morning. This was perfect since I was an early riser. At exactly 8 AM, the plumber was knocking on the door. He went throughout the house and looked at all the pipes that were visible. He knew if they were bad, he would probably need to replace those that weren’t. His estimate to redo the entire plumbing system was more than fair, and I hired him on the spot. Considering his estimate included new pipes along with the work to install them, I figured I was already a couple of bucks ahead of the game.
