Cold food and beverages affect my sensitive teeth

Sensitive teeth is a problem that affects millions of people every year… Then sensitive teeth can be caused by a number of different factors.

Sensitive teeth can come from exposure to roots or scraped tooth enamel! It can also come from a cavity, chipped tooth, or even periodontal gum disease. Sensitive teeth can be helped by using a special toothpaste with a desensitizing agent… There are lots of different over the counter toothpaste that are made especially for sensitivities. If toothpaste does not help with the sensitivity problem, then you may need to have other treatments performed. I never used to have a problem with sensitive teeth, however lately I have been wincing every time I eat something cold. I started a couple of weeks ago. I always have ice cream with my girls after they have a soccer match or baseball game, but all of us went to the ice cream shop. I have been into my ice cream and a raging pain thought right into my head. I could not get the pain to go away. The next day I was simply drinking a milkshake and the same thing happened. I decided to speak with my family dentist about the sensitivity problems. The dentist looked at all of my teeth and advocated a couple of various treatments! He did not know that the problem was extreme. He genuinely advocated using the same toothpaste that I already possessed in my home. He said that the sensitivity might fade eventually if I continue using the toothpaste, however if it got worse, I should call and make another appointment.
