I just wanted everything to go exactly the way that she wanted it to but it was really tough inside of her house that night
It was way too hot at the neighbors’ dinner party the other night. I still can’t believe how awful the whole night was. I wasn’t really thinking about telling people about it since I really do love my neighbor and I would hate to embarrass her, but I also think that it is important that we do a Christmas Party at my house every year just to keep the whale family together or that we take our picture in front of the fireplace. I actually wanted her to come over to my house whenever we were hosting the party over at my house during the second week of Christmas break. Anyway, at the dinner party at our neighbors’ house, the wine just kept on flowing, even though I never really saw very much of it. It was more the fact that the thermostat in their house was turned up so far that made me feel bad. It wasn’t the wine or the food or the company. I just felt like I was going to throw up because of all of the heat in the house. I didn’t want anything like that to happen at their dinner party with all of their new neighbors. I just wanted everything to go exactly the way that she wanted it to but it was really tough inside of her house that night. The furnace kept on running and running and most of us were fanning our faces to try to ignore it but that was very difficult. When we finally left, I was ready to go stand outside in the freezing cold.
