Buddy doesn’t understand a/c basics

I wasn’t all that surprised to hear that the a/c was failing to give satisfactory comfort on especially hot days

I have a neighbor who I have known since the two of us attended doctorry university together. Hannah is a easily nice and generous woman. However, she isn’t overly knowledgeable about practical things. She once complained to myself and others that her bathroom faucet was broken. She was getting only a actually small stream of water. I took a look and discovered that the aerator was completely obstructed. I also needed to show her how to clean the lint trap in the dryer, clean the filters in her vacuum cleaner and change the filter in her gas furnace… When her temperature control wasn’t working, I commanded she try decreasing the batteries. One of the most silly things she’s ever done is ask myself and others for the name and number of my mechanic. When I asked why she needed it, she told myself and others she had a complication with her air conditioner. I assumed she meant the A/C in her car. She called my auto mechanic and got aggravated when they refused to make a housecall. She complained to myself and others about it, and I realized that she was talking about the central a/c installed in her home. I then explained that she needed an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider. Hannah had no clue what the acronym stands for. I also discovered that after living in her house for nearly many years, she’d never once scheduled service for the cooling system. I wasn’t all that surprised to hear that the a/c was failing to give satisfactory comfort on especially hot days. Hannah told myself and others there was a musty smell coming from the vents. I was sure there was mold growing on the cooling coils and algae thriving in the condensate drain.
