She was screaming at the dog while laboring on the gas furnace.

Last week, the HVAC serviceman arrived with parts for my gas furnace and she was going to finally repair it, then when she got to the basement, she started yelling at the dog while trying to labor on the gas furnace… I ran to the door and yelled for Bowser to come upstairs, although she wasn’t listening. When I got downstairs, Bowser had the HVAC serviceman cornered and I could hear him snarling, but as I yanked on Bowser to get him away, the HVAC serviceman was asking if I had forgotten to put the dog away before she arrived. I hadn’t forgotten. I thought Bowser would be okay now that she knew the HVAC serviceman. When I had Bowser under control, the HVAC serviceman started packing up her tools. I wanted to guess where she was going, but she showed me the bite on her leg, and said that once she got it evaluated out, someone else would be back to make the repairs. I was dumbfounded, not so much that she was leaving, but that she wouldn’t come back. I was sure Bowser didn’t mean to bite him, and she was really just playing, but later that afternoon, the HVAC business called and told me the HVAC serviceman was fine, although she needed to have a tetanus shot! They would be sending me the bill for her hospital visit, and pet control would be coming to the house. I was sorry the HVAC serviceman got bit, although she was just playing. The HVAC business owner told me that playing could get rough, but the serviceman had videoed the snarling and how the dog had attacked him, was not playing.
