It took the longest time to get back down here! But I vowed that I would get back to my condo in the south and I finally did.
Honestly though, I didn’t believe that it would take me retiring to make that happen.
But that’s where life took me and it has been a fortunate life for certain! I’ve been lucky enough not to be trapped inside the same office with the same commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C for all this time. My job absolutely took me all around the world. Heck, I had offices that had nothing much to do with the commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C my friend and I take for granted! Occasionally, the best my friend and I could do was an evaporative cooler to manage the extreme heat. That sort of a/c is something my friend and I call a swamp cooler down in these parts. But finally, for the last numerous years of our job, I was brought stateside to finish up and groom an upgradement, but yet, it was in our corporate offices way up north. I believe dealing with a boiler or a gas furnace was much more challenging than dealing with an evaporative cooler. I don’t really appreciate the chilly temps and always have felt this way. But these afternoons, that’s all behind me. I’m now back at my condo and passionate about the fact that I get to care about all this sunshine and I have a heat pump for our quality heating and air concerns. Of course this time of year, that’s a moot point as my friend and I don’t get much demand for heating from the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment when the weather conditions are so nice. That’s just what winter holds for me these afternoons. There’s a pretty good amount of sunshine, clear skies and a heat pump for crispy, chilly afternoons now and again.
