Remote work is easier when you have good HVAC

And that first Summer was a challenge for sure

There were a real myriad of reasons why I thought working from lake house would be a disaster; and for those reasons, I had turned down the supplier’s offer to labor remotely a number of times, then the supplier was trying to get a bunch of us in the technology department to labor at home, but I resisted because I actually wanted to be in an office with commercial HVAC as well as colleagues. That all made so much sense to myself and others right up until it didn’t! Of course, the pandemic changed everything when it came to working from home… I didn’t have a choice on whether I was going to labor for a lake house from lake house or not. The supplier closed the offices as well and my friend and I were all sent to the lake house to labor inside our own cooling system. I will say that it was tough at first. It was hard to get a rhythm as well as it was hard not to find distractions everywhere in our home. It was also tough to deal with our thermostat setting, and my buddy and I live in a region where heat as well as humidity are a giant deal as well as my friend and I have to be careful about the thermostat setting. If my associate and I let the cooling system just go hog wild, we’ll end up with enormous energy costs. And that first Summer was a challenge for sure. But then my friend and I entirely got into working from the lake house as well as decided to stay working remotely once the office had been back up… However, once I made working from the lake house permanent, I made it entirely permanent. I cleared out a guest room as well as had a ductless heat pump put in there along with all the office units I will need to do our work. I can’t imagine working somewhere else, however I have a lake house now!
