Anyway, it’s nice to know that replacing a roof doesn’t take as long as I initially thought it would
A couple years ago, my dad had his roof upgraded because it was over 25 years old; And as someone who has no idea about roof upgradement, I wasn’t sure of how long the process would take, and in my head, a roof upgradement is a major project that should take at least a week to complete, and but to my surprise his roof upgradement was completed in less than 3 afternoons. In fact, on the third afternoon, the roofers didn’t complete a full afternoon, so technically it took two plus a half afternoons to do a full roof upgradement, but my dad lives in a 2,100 square foot dwelling which is around the average size of a dwelling in the country plus based on what I learn online, it should take between 2 to 3 afternoons for a full roof upgradement. Of course, depending on the material used, some roof upgradements will take more time, for instance, asphalt shingles, which is what my dad has on his roof, have one of the shortest upgrade times, however, tile, metal, or natural slate, takes much longer to install. In fact, depending on weather as well as the square footage of a home, it could take up to 9 or more afternoons to install a concrete tile roof. And speaking of weather, it plays a massive part in the time it takes for a roof upgradement, however weather can cause major delays for roofing businesss. Anyway, it’s nice to know that replacing a roof doesn’t take as long as I initially thought it would. And if I ever needed to get my roof upgraded, I know the process will take 2 to 3 afternoons, of course, weather permitting.
