I am a single guy who is in his late 20s, and i own my apartment and I work full time. I am also not handy in any way. I wish I had a guy or husband I could call when things break, sadly it is up to me. I struggled repairing plumbing troubles, electrical problems and dryer vent cleanings on my own. I recently had an electrician rewire my kitchen and add recessed lighting. I got a Heating and Air Conditioning tune up and while the guy was there he talked about air duct services and dryer vent cleaning. I realized that I could get on a air duct service plan and a dryer vent cleaning service. I could have a guy come once a year to make sure my HVAC ducts weren’t clogged with dust; He would also ensure the dryer vent wasn’t clogged with lint and a fire hazard. He would even check over the dryer to ensure that it works well. I sporadically deal with overheating and the dryer quitting on me. It will be so nice not to worry about that anymore. I said yup to every kind of repair and service plan. I have a whole rotating calendar of guys that come in and perform these deeds. I love it that I don’t have to deal with unexpected repairs or polluted indoor air quality, the apartment is all set and I just spend my money the bills when they come in.
