I feel like I was hit by a train last night. My elbow, lower back, and my knees are all sore. We had some extreme plays yesterday, with the volleyball matches. I even got the best play of the year on film, somehow. My buddies recorded it on a video camera. I am hoping the video is clear, showing all the action. Hopefully we can see it, and I can’t wait to watch the video again to see what we did. It was a long rally, heating up from the start, not cooling down until late in the game when I won the point. We won that game, too, and it was the highlight of my afternoon as we won that game together in type and on camera. My teammate is editing the video today in her air-conditioned studio, where I am sure she will make the magic happen with her editing skills! Then I can have the video as a memory of my mornings of playing in the sand with my friends. A local company sponsors our drinks; my friend and I entertain the crowds there in the temperature controlled beach bar. So, needless to say, today I am not feeling great, as far as my body is upset. I’ll do a lot of moderate yoga in my studio with radiant heated floors, and a small space heater. Then I will train a client in yoga and stretch it out even more to help with the healing process.
