I had lived with my aunt Ruby from when I was a child.
She was the kindest guy that offered to those around his wholeheartedly.
When mom passed on when I was a child, the family had been stranded until aunt Ruby opted to stay with me. She was known for helping other kids get through life as this was his life calling. She treated me as his kid right from the word go. I lacked for nothing, and went to the best private colleges, courtesy of her, unfortunately, due to age he had grown frail and was no longer his active self. I had tried my best to convince his to come with me to the town but he refused. She had planned this part of his life early and did not want to be a burden to me! Reluctantly, I took his to the nursing household of his choice. I made sure that he was given preferential treatment just to feel content with this move. I would have number one to take care of his myself however Aunt Ruby did not want to hear of it. The one afternoon I visited his and found out that his room was warm and stuffy, I could not hold back the tears! Of course he could not complain despite the struggle he clearly had. I talked to the management to understand why my aunt’s room had no cooling system. The nursing household was running on a narrow budget and had to compromise on their things. I anonymously donated to help them get a portable window AC for each room. The idea was to convince my business to help with the entire Heating and A/C system revamp as part of our social responsibility. Since thai was my department at work, I was determined to see it through.
