My sister can be such a hard headed person, but at least she listens to me once in a while.
I’ve saved her from some difficult situations.
I remember one time when we were teens, my sister almost got taken. We only recently told our parents this story, and they were so mad. My sister had a computer, and she began chatting with some boy online. He was asking her to meet up, and pretending to be 16 years old. She was 14 and felt flattered. Somehow I saw their chat on the computer, and the date they were planning to meet. I drove to the area and saw my sister sitting waiting for the ‘boy’ only for a grown man to show up. He tried to convince her to go with him, but I ran towards them shouting, so he let go and ran. Gosh, my sister was shaken, and I was out of it. But, we made it through. Anyway, the other day, she wanted to have a handyman come and fix the AC at her house. My sister now works in the city, and she bought a house. I remember asking her to hire an HVAC company to do a thorough inspection of her home. She didn’t, and her AC failed a few months later. She called asking if I knew any handymen who could repair the faulty AC. I told her to hire a certified HVAC company with qualified HVAC technicians to handle the AC repair. She tried to protest, but I told her it was cheaper than paying to install a new AC.
