I like to have my Heating & A/C system inspected by the local Heating & A/C contractor every 6 months or so, however i preferably like to get it done in the Spring and winter season months because this is when I’m transitioning between my boiler and air conditioner.
I use this time to reset my Heating & A/C system between the seasons to make sure that everything is running efficiently, this year though, I fell behind and forgot to have my boiler inspected before the cooler weather hit! When I saw that the weather was predicted to drop significantly one week, I began to panic. I didn’t have my boiler inspected and I thought that it was going to chop down and I’d be left without heat. I didn’t know what to do because I thought that it was too late to call the local Heating & A/C contractor. I took a chance though and they were more than cheerful to repair my boiler before the temperature dropped too low. The Heating & A/C professional who came to my home assured me that this was still a wonderful time to have everything inspected because the contractor was less busy. They had completed a majority of their servicing and I wasn’t competing with all the other homes too. The Heating & A/C professional also assured me that while my timeline for Heating & A/C servicing was number one and logical, there wasn’t a time limit on having your Heating & A/C system inspected as long as it was being done. It was better to have the Heating & A/C system inspected, even if late, rather than not at all.
