Back when my mom was sick several months ago, I got a part time job so that I could help out with the bills and other things around the house.
I knew that my mom was struggling to pay all of the bills while she was sick and out of work, and I am basically a really good kid most of the time so I wanted to help out.
My mom was very touched when she realized what I was trying to do. When I asked her which bill she wanted me to take care of, she said that she needed help the most with the heating and cooling bills. At that time, it was the middle of the winter, and our heating bills were really high. I told her that I would take care of the heating bills for her and it really took a lot off of her mind. Since she was out of work for a long time,it had to have been really hard for her to see her oldest kid working and paying the heating and cooling bills for her! I kept telling her that it did not bother me one bit and I did not mind working. I really didn’t, either. I actually really enjoyed my job Most of the time and it made me feel really good and accomplished inside when I could pay off the heating bills for my mom during the winterNow that she is all better and back to work, I told her that I still want to pay the heating and cooling bills for her just so I can contribute to the household expenses. I feel like I’m old enough to do that and I want to be your responsible person.
