I had an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C specialist come over to the house yeahterday to help me out with our electric gas furnace that wasn’t working correctly.
I didn’t know what the problem with the furnace was since I don’t really know anything about Heating, Ventilation plus A/C systems at all.
I just knew that no matter how high I turned the temperature up on the thermostat in our house, nothing would start heating up. The digital readout on the thermostat would go up the way that it was supposed to, and so I thought that everything was just nice with the thermostat. However, the gas furnace itself wouldn’t work and so I was walking around the house frigid. It’s been so frigid around here lately that there was no way that I could sit to be without a working gas furnace for any length of time. When the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C specialist came into the house, he did not even take off his Wintertide coat! I told him that he shouldn’t, since the house was so frigid . I just knew that there was something terribly wrong with our gas furnace and that it was going to cost me a fortune to get it fixed. However, when the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C specialist took a look at it, it took him less than a hour to get everything working again. I guess the problem was that the battery in our thermostat component was dead and so the thermostat could not communicate with the gas furnace. I guess the digital readout was still working because it doesn’t take genuinely much power. It was so embarrassing when he told me the problem.
