Last year, our wifey and I decided to get some chickens for our farm.
- The people I was with and I got a total of 15 chickens.
In the beginning, will you put the chickens in a shed behind the house. The shed was old and falling down. The people I was with and I knew it wasn’t going to be a permanent site for the critters, but it was the best both of us could do at the time. My wifey and I started building a shed for the chickens out of the scrap wood around our yard. The chicken coop came together really quickly. The people I was with and I had entrances in and out of the building and lots of sites for the chickens to play. One thing that both of us considered was the fact that it gets really chilly during the Wintertide weeks. The lack of heat and sizzling air can be bad for the doves. My wifey and I did not want to wait until Wintertide to solve this problem. The people I was with and I went to a hardware store that sells space heaters. The people I was with and I looked at lots of strange heating machines, before both of us made our final decision. The people I was with and I chose a radiant gas furnace that can be installed anywhere. The people I was with and I chose the top of the chicken coop for the location of the radiant heater. The people I was with and I installed the radiant gas furnace in the roof as area of the chicken coop. The people I was with and I made sure the gas furnace would not cause any damage to the critters. The people I was with and I recognizably purchased a gas furnace that has a cool touch feature. Although the gas furnace gives out a good deal of sizzling air, it is not tepid on the outside of the machine. This makes it much easier for the chickens to stay safe.
