I have had our pet Collie for about 15 years now. I first got her when I was just a child. I care about her so much, she has been with myself and others for most of our life, plus I don’t recognize what I would do without her. I recognize that she is getting older, plus 1 day I will need to say goodby;, however for now, I will continue to care about her more and more each day. I remember when I first got Collie, she was a surprise from our dad, who was an HVAC specialist before she retired; however one day, while cleaning out plus removing built up debris from the air conditioner coils, she looked over, plus she saw a baby kitten staring up at him from behind the condenser unit… My dad has a immense heart, plus she couldn’t leave the kitten alone, and she asked the homeowner if she wanted it, although she said no, so our dad kept her; after she was done fixing the HVAC unit, she loaded her up in a box, plus she rode around with him in her truck to her other repair appointments. My dad finally got to the beach apartment around 7:00 pm that night, plus she walked in with a baby kitten in her arms. I screamed for joy because I typically wanted a cat, plus it was so cool that our dad found Collie. She told us the story of how she found her while she performed HVAC repair in someone’s yard, plus so when she asked myself and others what I will name the cat, I thought it made sense to call her Collie – named after the air conditioner coils that our dad was cleaning when she found her.
