I have a big crypto mining rig in my office that acts as a space heater, which is good during the winter, however when Summer is here the rig is at risk of overheating plus breaking down.
- I didn’t realize this when I started mining however now I understand how much power it really does consume.
I had to buy a small portable mini cut air conditioner for my office to keep the room cool plus my power bills have gone up quite a bit. I still make money with the mining however don’t adore all of the power I am consuming. It’s just not good for the environment plus I may just stop mining altogether because of it. The air conditioning company is happy with my portable AC purchase however I just don’t sleep too well now knowing I am using all of this power. I guess I may get back into teaching beach volleyball as soon as the weather warms up plus quit mining plus sell my rig. I could still use the portable AC machine because I don’t adore to run my central air conditioner all day if I can help it plus I spend most of my time in the office anyways. It is quite energy efficient plus runs truly quietly so I don’t mind running it most of the day. I just stopped using my electric furnace because the frigid weather is shifting to sizzling now that the two of us are in the middle of April. It’s been a long frigid Wintertide plus I am ready for summer.
