I really am impressed with my local heating and air conditioning company and the perks that they give to sign up for their yearly HVAC service plan. They give away free gifts! And I am not talking just some 10 cent dollar store stuff. They actually this year were giving away free smart thermostats to anyone who signed up for their HVAC service plan. The HVAC service plan is two hundred dollars a year flat and it covers and protects any heat and a/c repair you need done, it gives you 4 HVAC tune ups and check ups per year and it also protects your central heating and air conditioning system from any natural disasters. So for instance if a tornado or hurricane came charging through and wrecked your central heat and a/c unit, the HVAC service plan would cover the replacement for free! A several thousand dollar value for only two hundred dollars! That of course does not include the HVAC installation. They have to make some kind of money on the sale and installation of a brand new and up to date central heat and a/c unit right? But it is very fair. And that free smart thermostat this year they are offering is even better! I never had a smart thermostat and signed up for the HVAC service plan. And now I have one. Let me tell you I didn’t know what I was missing. The smart thermostat has made running my central heat and a/c system so much easier and it has also been a great energy saver saving me tons on my monthly electric bills.
