When you’re an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist the way that I am, you just never suppose what you are going to run into when you are out on the task.
It’s never boring, that is for sure.
I have to go to all kinds of sites to complete oil furnace repair tasks. Most of the time, I am out on the task alone. Once in a while, I will have someone that I am training with me, & that is usually better when I end up at a weird location. I don’t appreciate going to weird locations all by myself. It’s not appreciate I am a chicken or anything appreciate that, however you see all kinds of things on the news these afternoons! I would dislike to see a headline about an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist who disappeared after completing a oil furnace repair task at a creepy outdated beach house out in the country. I say that because a few weeks ago, the dispatch office at the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier that I work for sent me out to a place just appreciate that. It was a beach house that I had never been to before, & it literally looked appreciate something out of a scary motion picture. The place looked deserted & super creepy. I couldn’t suppose that anyone even lived there, let alone had a working oil furnace unit somewhere inside. When I got there, I parked the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C truck in the driveway & I just sat there for a few hours to try & get our courage up before I went inside. I knew that if I did not go in, the men at the office would make fun of me, so I went up on the porch & knocked on the door. There was a honestly creepy outdated guy inside who looked a little bit appreciate a vampire. When he told me that the oil furnace was downstairs in the cellar, I nearly turned around to run away!
