I will never forget this really awesome bakery all of us had when I was growing up in the city.
It was family owned and they really had the best stuff in there! One could receive a million pounds and go broke if they were not careful.
It was that addicting and yummy! The other thing I will never forget about that bakery is that they had the best air quality in there. I do not guess how they did it with all the baking and ovens going on every hour. But they did. It was decades ago so I guess for sure they did not have a whole apartment air cleaner. The air quality was so good though that you would guess that they had a whole apartment air cleaner. Also naturally it odored really great in there with the cakes, pies, cookies and more that they would be baking for sale. There has never been another bakery love that I have ever come across in my older years. Things just are not what they used to be, I can tell you that. The family owned bakery went out of business somewhere in the mid 1990’s after being around for almost 40 years at that point. It was a real bummer to hear that when it happened. But I will consistently remember that great air quality that they had in there and the great baking goods for sale. When I run my own whole apartment air purification plan this week with the central air conditioner, I occasionally get a brief flashback to the bakery.
