I wanted to switch rooms when my husband and I ended up in a hotel that was awful. My husband drove the whole way to the location! When we got to the hotel, he was ready to sit down and sleep for several hours. The only problem he had was whether or not the bed was comfortable. He was not easily happy with the heating or air conditioner situation, however I did not want to spend the night without a seat. When I realized there was a problem with the hotel wall cooling system, I contacted the front desk. The man at the front desk asked me a couple of questions and then there was a knock on the door about 15 minutes later. Maintenance guy came into the room and detached the air filter. He cleaned the air filter in the bathroom and made a mess all over the sink. He didn't even bother to wash up all of the dirty water that he splashed all over the place. The maintenance professional told us that the AC component problem was fixed, although I knew that it was not. There was no way that cleaning the air filter was going to fix the issue with the ac. The equipment was making a weird sound. I wanted to switch rooms after that, however my husband just wanted to sit down and get some rest. He told me to stop worrying about the AC and proposed that I sit down to take a nap too. When the two of us woke up, it was 83 degrees in the room and we were dripping with sweat. The problem with the AC absolutely was not fixed.
