My partner and I bought a home with an old and inefficient boiler.

The boiler was really more fancy than we thought, but we got a fantastic deal from a local heating and A/C installation business. we saved 20% on the bill and that was several hundreds of dollars. We also got a brand new programmable control component for free when the new boiler was installed. The programmable control component also helps us save money by allowing us to program unusual temperature settings throughout the day. There’s no reason for us to heat or cool our home when no one is home. It makes a lot more sense to use the programmable control component to help us save money.

Tuesday was my last day of work for the weekend.

• I was really enthusiastic to leave on Friday for a week-long trip.

I was going to the beach to hang out with some of my friends. When I got home from work on Tuesday night, there was a problem with my a/c and it was not working properly. I called the maintenance supervisor as soon as I got home. The first thing that he said to me was a comment about changing the air filter frequently. I told the guy that I was changing the air filter every month. The maintenance guy knew that I had to leave for a flight at 2:00 in the afternoon and he promised to get the a/c fixed first thing in the day on Friday. I thought that first thing in the day would mean 8:00 or 9:00 but the guy did not arrive until almost noon and after that I was getting ready to leave for the airport. I was really frustrated and aggravated because I wanted to be there when the a/c was fixed. I wanted to make sure that the machine was working before I left for a week. The maintenance guy called me when the a/c was fixed and he even took a picture of my locked door. I guess that was the best that I could hope to get from the guy. He was late, but he did his best to make sure that I was gleeful with the a/c repair that I acquired.
