I got plans and this week’s honey-do list item is fixing the slow leak in the outdoor water tank.

My lady is not the most demanding person in the world, so when she asks me to do something, it is usually because it is absolutely necessary.

While the apartment is relatively new and the majority of its features function as intended, there is the occasional broken item that necessitates replacement. First, I need to finish up my writing assignment, which takes me about two and a half hours to complete, and then my wonderful friend and I will work on the lukewarm water heater leak and get it fixed. The leak is occurring around the tank’s connection to the source of the cold water, and it is extremely slow. Hopefully, if I loosen the connection to the water heater and tape it with Teflon, the heating and air conditioning system will start working again without any leaks. I guess I can do it while the tank is draining, and it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. If I’m unable to do it myself, I might try contacting the local business that installed it to see if they can send out a heating and air conditioning technician to help. It’s such a minor issue that I’d rather handle it myself rather than waste their time on it. A great friend and I bought a propane boiler from them, and it’s great except for a tiny slow leak that causes a shot glass of water to spill out once a week.

I don’t know if I can do it but I have about seven months to get this group headed in the right direction, or else I’ll have to return to the States to be with my herd.

To pursue my goal of becoming a stand-up comedian, I had to make the difficult decision to strike out on my own, away from the support of my family and long-term friends.

I’m so glad I decided to pursue a career in show business; prior to that, my life had become incredibly monotonous, and now I’ve had so many amazing opportunities I never would have had otherwise. Since then, I’ve shifted my focus to music and like what I’ve done so far; now I just need more time to find my voice and compose more songs. My bandmate is a cooling rep who is quitting his job at the new company in town to devote himself fully to music. He’s currently living in a nearby city but plans to relocate here so that he and I can work on our craft more frequently and make more progress. The two of us have been hanging out in her air-conditioned beach house, but I can’t wait until one afternoon soon to go back home and see Mom and relax by her fireplace while she prepares dinner for us.

We get to travel to many different places to do charity work. Most of the places we go to do not have the basic amenities. Most of these communities do without some amenities, while others can not imagine a world without them. I remember when we went to this community on a particular island. Our mission was to donate food, books for the children, and other basic amenities. We got there very late in the evening and had to sleep over. The community chief offered us accommodation. Since it was a hot and humid village, the night was not any different. This community did not know life with cooling equipment, and residential HVAC business was unheard. My husband could not sleep at night as he was used to our cooling unit providing help with indoor comfort. He went to sit outside to feel the breeze. In the morning, he told me how much he appreciated that we knew about and owned a well-functioning climate control system. The villagers were used to the humidity and did not seem as bothered as we did. We realized we had not scheduled quality AC service and maintenance when we got home. We have always tried to have the HVAC checked for any necessary repairs. The cooling technician had recommended we regularly service the system to avoid sudden breakdowns. Since the HVAC contractor did the HVAC installation on our unit, we have created a schedule with the local service provider for bi-annual tune-ups. With a unit with different cooling technology, we could have gotten away with an annual, but with the electric heat pump, twice is ideal. The cooling specialist responded quickly to solve the issue. It’s among the many things I like about that particular cooling corporation. We slept very comfortably that night.

One mistake I shouldn’t have made at the beginning stages was not investing in a climate control system. I was losing money, so I researched and realized flowers need specific temperatures. I consulted a cooling specialist and got an electric heat pump from the cooling corporation. I commend the HVAC business for promptly sending their HVAC contractor to handle the HVAC installation. The experts were professional and helpful enough to guide me on operating and scheduling quality AC service and maintenance. The cooling technician helped me connect the thermostat to my phone so that I could change the temperature anytime. After a month, my business flourished, and I recovered the loss from not having a cooling unit. The quality cooling equipment also provided help with indoor comfort for the staff. On certain holidays, we would work till late and sometimes open very early in the morning. I needed to ensure that my team worked in a comfortable environment to ensure maximum productivity. We recently won an award for the fastest-growing small business. There is no better thing than to make people happy with our flowers. We have since started delivering around town, and we are in disbelief at how many more customers we have gained. I schedule a tune-up biannually with the local service provider to keep it functioning optimally for a long time. I have the contacts of a technician that I can refer to whenever I’m experiencing issues with my unit. It is indeed a worthwhile investment since the cooling technology is not only efficient but it’s also energy efficient.

I have exactly two more hours till I need to be down the street doing a yoga session for a client. She pays me well to teach yoga three times a week, so much so that it pays for all of my food for the week. This is wonderful, because then I can save more of my normal paycheck to get that buffer in the bank again that I like to have. I am cooking some beans and rice on the stove later, and am going to relax in the evening with my housemate. She’s an HVAC technician; we met some years back at the HVAC company we worked for. Well, she kind of grew on me, and my friend and I began dating a few months ago. We like to have date nights once a week where we eat nice food and listen to some oldies by candlelight, with the cats. It is a nice life with temperature control and a nice woman to share my time with, and although I am missing my dad a lot, I need to be here for my dreams to come true. If dad passes on, I know that we both loved each other and that he will constantly be with me in my memories. He will never die in my mind. I am going to fire up the fireplace soon and go get that yoga session done l, so I can come back to my liking, and my natural temperature control heater.

Cooling industry

I will knock out eight or nine more articles today quickly; then it will be yoga and meditation time. I am going to start listening to my podcast soon so I can start my Spanish learning for the afternoon. I normally listen to about two hours of Spanish stories so that I can pick up more on the spoken language in my town. I suppose within six or seven months my Spanish will be at the level where I can carry on a regular conversation with the local corporation people here so that I don’t feel like so much of an outcast anymore. I like to listen to podcasts while I do my yoga, while cooling and cleaning. I don’t like to listen to it while I clean the air duct because it is a bit too distracting, plus cleaning the HVAC component takes all of my focus plus concentration to avoid injury on the job. I had a slow afternoon today. I am just going to teach a little 30 minute yoga session to a neighbor, then go relax at the beach and watch the sunset. It should be moderate plus air conditioning is going to be needed soon for cooling down my office while I am working, but today is a bit cooler and I don’t think I will need to run the HVAC system just yet. I have a few little fans that I am going to use when it gets warmer, plus soon after that it will be air conditioning time again.
