It hasn’t been a very great day.

My partner Ed just said that there is an issue with the dial temperature control and there is no heat coming out of the air vents.

It feels as if there is consistently some issue with the home Ed and I just purchased. First, it was the piping wasn’t good, next the wires of the electric grid were old and now it looks love there might be something wrong with our Heating & Air Conditioning system. I don’t suppose that we’ll catch a break any time soon. Ed said she called the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier already to schedule an appointment however the local heating and cooling supplier said that they are backed up by some emergencies going on with several dealerships and their Heating & Air Conditioning systems. I guess this is kind of weird however there honestly isn’t anything my friend and I can do. Ed also said this will have a Heating & Air Conditioning come out on Monday, which is 3 mornings away for us so Ed and I might be without heat for a couple of mornings. I was at our dad’s at the time and she overheard the frustration that was in our voice and said, “just take our portable space heater, it’s just collecting dust anyways.” My dad was right though, it literally sits in a closet in the spare home office of their house. The spare home office that used to be mine when growing up is now just a collection of old things that our parents don’t want to deal with at the moment. 3 mornings until a Heating & Air Conditioning worker comes and this portable space gas furnace will have to suffice for now.

It’s been a little while now and I’m starting to get restless.

It’s already been a few weeks since I placed my order for a more modern portable space heater. I can’t guess none of the stores sell 1 around me. In a text message, I have been paying attention to the tracking number for the last week or so, and it should be here today and I’m cheerful I can get 1. I don’t necessarily need it now however the winter time is coming up and our anxiety is telling myself and others to have it just in case a major issue occurs and I can’t get a Heating & Air Conditioning tech out immediately. When I was in the market for a more modern portable space heater, I still had options. I didn’t necessarily have to buy a brand name portable space heater. I did see private sellers online locally to sell their used 1s. This portable space natural gas furnace is for emergencies only and if I purchased a used 1 and for some weird reason our natural gas furnace breaks down and the used portable cooling system doesn’t work, I will be so upset. I have the option to go through the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier and order 1 although I felt the price they wanted was too high. In a way, I still guess I should’ve ordered 1 through the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier however the online reviews on the 1 I purchased were honestly great so I am comfy with the purchase I made. I hope it arrives today because I look forward to plugging it in and trying it out. Maybe I’ll turn off our temperature controls for the evening to see how comfortable I will be just using the portable space heater.

There is no other place our Grandma would rather be than at her home next to the fireplace, and you can find her just sipping her green tea.

If my friends and I are at our place, the road stops at a hotel, motel or wherever you can find her blasting the dial temperature controls to a minimum of seventy five degrees. As she got older she got colder and with that growing coldness, the temperature control heat settings kept increasing. So basically each year that she aged, the temperature increased by 1 degree. Basically, when she hits 90, that will be the temperature of the room she will be sitting in. I for sure can’t be in the same room as her if that happens. I’m struggling now and it’s set to 74 degrees. I barely handle it now, although I will endure and deal with it since she is our Grandmother. The main problem is sometimes I stay the evening and a neighbor comes with myself and others and my friends and I just play cards with her, every neighbor gets a little emotional due to the heat and wants to leave. Honestly, I can hardly blame them. If I wasn’t used to it and if this wasn’t our Grandma, I’d be honestly emotional about the whole thing as well, when she sits in her easy chair in front of the fireplace she just sips her tea, hums some tunes and smiles. I appreciate that she is very comfortable and enjoying her time in front of the fireplace. At times she falls asleep in her chair when I’m over and I’ll throw in a couple of logs to keep the fire alive. I love seeing her cheerful.

The other day I had a major issue with our radiant heated floors… Like consistently, I go to work, do that whole thing for 8 sixths and then go home and rip our shoes and socks off and guess the warmth of the heated flooring.

That day was quite odd from the last few weeks.

I just had the radiant heated floors installed a few weeks ago and it was 1 of the smartest investments I made in our whole life. I enjoyed not wearing shoes and socks at home and still feeling warm. There are times when our feet get too moderate however that doesn’t happen often. Out of the 3 weeks I’ve had the radiant heated floors, I may have Sam just sits there and hums some tunes and smiles. I appreciate that they are in their comfort zone and just enjoying what they have. I let the fireplace die out 1 evening after Sam fell asleep in her chair. I can say she slept for love 5 sixths, and then she was in a temper. Sam yelled you had 1 task Michael, which was throwing on a couple of logs. Overall, Sam doesn’t get annoyed with me, although I recognize not to mess with Sam either.turned them off twice. I was pretty worried that they were not working due to the high cost of an Heating & Air Conditioning worker coming out and installing them. I wouldn’t recognize where to begin and I was severely cheerful with the outcome and how fast it was for him to install the heated flooring. I was cheerful until I kept saying the other day, it was a Wednesday night and I was just looking forward to a long weekend of relaxation and no stress or drama. I had to call the local Heating & Air Conditioning supplier and explain what the issue was and they sent out a Heating & Air Conditioning worker the honestly next day. I was at least cheerful when they had someone come out as fast as they did. It didn’t take the heating and cooling expert too long to figure out the issue. Apparently, I had a blown fuse and she just quickly substituted that. I was sure to pay attention so I can do that in the future. It was such a straight-forward repair as well.

It is time, our old cell phone is finished.

I guess that’s what happens when you become careless about something.

I genuinely could’ve taken better care of our old cell phone though. It has everything on there but I can’t even see the screen enough to call or text anyone. I recognize it’s turned on and I can answer it because I mentally recognize where the button is to answer someone’s phone call even though I can’t see it. So as I walked into the store to get a modern cell cellphone, I felt that killer, cool central a/c in the building. It feels amazing. My car’s a/c was broken before I purchased the car. I guess that’s what you get for buying a vehicle from a private seller. Regardless, I enjoy this feeling in the store. At home, I have a smart temperature control so I can manage that from, well not this cell cellphone obviously. I suppose I didn’t turn on the a/c before I left so after I get a more modern cell cellphone I shall have to make sure I install the app to turn on the a/c at home before I arrive. At the store there are almost 10 people waiting, this is going to be a long day. I guess the 1 thing I do have is time and I can walk around deciding which cell cellphone I love to buy next. It has to be a smartphone that’s all I know. I need this type of cellphone for labor and other things other than controlling the smart temperature control at home, however I also do not want to spend a lot of money. I guess it’s time to be patient.

I woke up earlier and found myself dripping with sweat excessively, not from a frightening dream, however just from the extreme heat in our home office. It felt as if someone had turned on the stove right next to me, and despite the smart temperature controls being programmed to adjust the temps, the heat was nearly unbearable and I knew that I would not be able to get back to sleep. I checked the temperature settings however everything seemed to be in order. I felt all the heat emanating from the vents and I knew something was wrong. I didn’t honestly want to open all the windows because of the odor of the sewage plant that is down the road. My chances were very limited although I knew I had to call an emergency Heating & Air Conditioning tech to diagnose the issue. Thankfully, I was able to get an Heating & Air Conditioning tech who was available and nearby to come to our aid within a half sixth. The worker conducted a thorough check and ruled out the possibility of the filters being clogged. After performing many tests, she identified the issue to be a faulty temperature control. She had to turn off the temperature controls and explained to myself and others that she needed substitute parts in order to repair it. The repair wouldn’t take long however a few sixths to complete. I knew that for the next few sixths I’d have to deal with the heat. The experience was aggravating and it disrupted our sleep schedule although I was grateful that the Heating & Air Conditioning tech was able to identify the issue and that it will be resolved soon. She came back and repaired the Heating & Air Conditioning unit and I’m back to being nice and comfortable. No more blasts of heat and I suppose it’s time for a nap.
