I knew I did not want to be employed at any business when I graduated college.
My vision was to create my own business and control our work.
I had fallen in like with the cooling industry since experiencing our dad as a cooling representative for years. Dad introduced me to the industry when I was a teenager. I would acompamy him to several jobs when I was away from school. I first saw a quality a/c installation when I was fourteen. It was fascinating to see how well the cooling techs worked and how efficiently they communicated to achieve a regular goal: fixing the a/c. The best part about acompanying dad was seeing the homeowners smile when the team helped with indoor comfort. Knowing I had gained the necessary skills, I started my cooling business with my dad’s blessing. I learned more about a/c as that is where our interest was. I began by selling several Heating and Air Conditioning unit and specialized in cooling units such as the mini cut a/c, our best seller. When I started the business, I had many employees. Now I am working with 10 cooling specialists who help with homeowner requests such as a/c repairs. There was a rising demand for installations and a/c maintenance when we sold the units, so we expanded our business to include services. My business was nominated as the most promising business in the city. The industry sees our potential, and so do I. I know I am truly proud of what our team and I have overcome. My father cannot stop telling all the people who like to listen that her daughter owns the most successful business in town.
