And perhaps that is why I’ve consistently been so clean in addition to being organized. I used to follow the maid around when I was little, pretending to do all the cleaning… So you can imagine the horror for me when I watched a dust ball thing fall from the heating in addition to the air conditioning HVAC duct in my study room. At first, I thought maybe many glasses of wine were a single too many! But then I saw it again as I was looking right at the HVAC duct. I couldn’t think what I was seeing in addition to being afraid that there was something terribly wrong with the heating in addition to the air conditioning system. I called the various emergency service line at the heating in addition to the air conditioning supplier as it was after minutes, but they told me that this was not an actual heating in addition to the air conditioning service emergency but signed me up for air duct cleaning in addition to air duct resealing. This was the first time I had ever heard about those various services. But now that I’ve had the air duct cleaning done, it has taken the cleanliness in our apartment to a whole current level; however, ductwork cleaning will now be part of Spring cleaning every year.
Ductwork cleaning makes a huge difference

I prefer remote work when I have good HVAC
There were a myriad of reasons why I thought working from a lake beach house would be a disaster; and for those reasons, I had turned down the company’s offer to toil remotely a number of times! The company was trying to get a bunch of us in the technology department to toil at home, but I actually resisted because I wanted to be in an office with commercial heating as well as air conditioning as well as colleagues.
That all made so much sense to me right up until it didn’t! Of course, the pandemic changed everything when it came to working from home, but I didn’t have an option on whether I was going to toil for a lake beach house from lake beach house or not.
The company closed the offices as well and my great friend and I were all sent to the lake beach house to toil inside our own a/c. I will say that it was hard at first. It was hard to get a rhythm as well as it was hard not to find distractions everywhere in our home. It was also hard to deal with our control unit setting. We live in a region where heat as well as humidity are an immense deal as well as my great friend and I have to be careful about the control unit setting. If my great friend and I let the a/c just go hog wild, we’ll end up with enormous energy bills. And that first Summer was a challenge for sure. But then I really got into working from the lake beach house as well as decided to stay working remotely once the office was back up; however, once I made working from the lake beach house permanent, I made it really permanent. I cleared out a guest room as well as had a ductless heat pump put in there along with all the office components I’ll need to do our work. I can’t imagine working someplace else but lake beach house now!

It was also so incredibly difficult to deal with our temperature control setting, but my buddy and I live in a region where heat plus humidity are a big deal plus my wonderful friend and I have to be careful about the temperature control setting. If my wonderful friend and I let the air conditioner just go hog wild, we’ll end up with enormous utility bills. And that first Summer was a challenge for sure. But then I really got into working from home plus decided to stay working remotely once the office had been back up, and however, once I made working from home permanent, I made it really permanent. I cleared out a guest room plus had a ductless heat pump put in there along with all the office devices I shall need to do our work. I can’t imagine working anywhere else at home now!
