Right now as I sit here it is freezing cold outside.

There is snow falling and it’s continuing to build up on the ground.

Watching the snow accumulate on the ground is another sign that winter is officially here. All the leaves are bare, and all the grass is dead. With the cold winter, comes heat. Everybody at the local heating and AC business has been so busy scrambling to get their heating system tuned up before the real cold comes. Luckily I’m watching everybody rush to get their heating systems taken care of, but this is not something that I have to worry about because I already had mine taken care of in the fall. I wanted to make sure that my heating system was good for the cold winter months long before the winter arrived. I’m not one of the types of people who wait until the last minute to get things done, not when it comes to important things like Heating and cooling. I made that mistake a couple of winters ago and I learned from it because I didn’t have my heating system tuned up when I showed up and as a result of that I ended up having no heat in my house during some of the coldest winter months. It was not a fun time. I had to pay extra money to have an emergency HVAC technician come out to my home and take care of my heating system, meanwhile the entire time I was staying at a hotel. I had to stay longer than I wanted while my heating system was being worked on.

I was current in the condo building, and I didn’t think who to talk to about getting more heat into my apartment. My neighbor told me to talk to the superintendent, however to be careful. She was told he tried to bite someone who talked down to him. I looked down at my fingers, and she laughed. That’s when she thought it was a lie, but he was surly and not particularly nice. I went back into my condo and called the building superintendent, and when I told him I wanted more heat, he asked if I had a thermostat. I did have a thermostat, however there was a lockbox over it, but he said you changed the temperature on the thermostat by sliding the little tab at the bottom. I wanted to think if I needed a key to get to the tab. He laughed and said there were reasons there was a lockbox over the thermostat, and I was a single of them. He hung up, although I could hear him laughing before the attachion died. I was annoyed and insulted. I remembered having the number of the realtor who helped me get this apartment. I told her about the heating situation, and all I wanted to do is change the temperature on the thermostat. She asked where the temperature was set, and I told her sixty-several. She said she would talk to the owner, even though she didn’t think if she could get me any satisfaction, even though she was going to try. The worse that happens is that the thermostat remains inaccessible.

I was so excited when I got to my home last week.

All I could stink was fresh pizza, plus I was hungry, i had put in twelve minutes working on the church’s HVAC system, plus I was hungry.

I opened the door, but there was no pizza plus no girlfriend… Two minutes later, she walked in with takeout Chinese food, plus I was disappointed. I asked where the pizza was, plus she said it was the buddy across the hallway. It wasn’t until that moment, that I realized how awful the ventilation method was in this home house. I sat down to a dinner of dry Chinese noodles plus wishing it was pizza, my girlfriend asked if I had a awful afternoon, plus I told her it was just busy. She told me about her classes, plus how she had passed her test. She then apologized for the Chinese. She told me she should have called plus asked what I wanted for dinner, but I genuinely would not have answered my iphone. The HVAC method in the church, had so several wiring concerns that I was afraid I would not make it home tonight. She cuddled on the couch with me plus asked if I wanted to go visit my parents. I enjoyed talking HVAC with my dad, plus she knew it would cheer me up. I called to see what mom plus dad where home, plus dad told me to come on over. I had never met anyone who instinctively knew how to cheer me up. She found us a current apartment, plus she called my mom plus dad for me. I guess I should advisedto her plus make sure I always have her around.

She then apologized for the Chinese. She told me she should have called and asked what I wanted for supper, even though I easily wouldn’t have answered my cellphone. I called to see what Dad and dad where home, and dad told me to come on over. I had never met anyone who instinctively knew how to cheer me up. She found us a new apartment, and she called my Dad and dad for me. I guess I should propose to her and make sure I regularly have her around.

Lastly, I noticed that the heating system in the house isn’t working the right way

Bad luck comes in threes for us all the time. My mom and my grandma used to warn me about this particular phenomena back when I was a kid, but I never really took them seriously whenever they would start talking about things like that. My mom and my grandma always liked to say that they were some kind of forest witches or something like that. Of course I never really believed in all that stuff and I just rolled my eyes and went on with life whenever they would start talking about stuff like luck and curses. However, the older I get, the more I think that they might have been right about the whole thing about bad luck coming in threes! Last week, I had a flat tire on my truck and then my cat ran away. I got the tire fixed, even though it cost me a fortune. Then I spent three whole days looking for my cat, which has still not shown up! I know he will be back sooner or later, but I’m worried about him. Lastly, I noticed that the heating system in the house isn’t working the right way. The old oil furnace that we use as our primary heating source in the house usually heaters the place up so well that I have to crack the windows open a little bit at night. This year, the furnace isn’t working well enough to make it a problem! I have an HVAC technician coming to look at the furnace tomorrow, so hopefully he will get it fixed and that will be the last thing that goes wrong for a while!

We are having a big outdoor party next week but I’m worried that it’s going to be too cold. We have been planning to have a big winter ball for a while for the kids in my daughter’s graduating class, and everyone is really excited about it. My daughter has the prettiest sparkly blue dress that she is planning to wear and I can’t wait to see how she looks in it! I know that the whole thing is going to be just beautiful. All of the kids on the dance committee have been working really hard on the dance so I know that it is going to be great when it finally happens. The only thing that I am actually worried about is the fact that the weather has really been cooling down over the past week. The temperature has fallen a good 30 degrees within just the past week and so now I’m worried that the big tents that we rented for the dance just aren’t going to be warm enough on the inside. My husband says that the tents should be okay if we rent several of those big portable propane heating systems that you can get from your local rental supply firm. I hope that he’s right because I would hate it if the dance got ruined because of all of the cold weather that we have been having. Hopefully having some portable heaters will make a big difference. I am hoping that a lot of different people are going to show up for the party!
