My hubby and I finally found our dream home.

My pal and I did not want anything costly.

My pal and I were looking for a small, cottage type house. I have always loved small houses. Something about them makes them feel more cozy and homey to me. My hubby wanted a smaller loft as well, so when my wonderful friend and I came across the loft that my wonderful friend and I are in now, my wonderful friend and I knew it was perfect for our family, but when my wonderful friend and I first moved into the house, I told my hubby that I honestly wanted a fireplace. There was a fireplace in the loft already, however it needed a lot of work before it could be usable. My pal and I decided that chopping it out and buying a new one would be our best option. My hubby did not want to have to deal with breaking wood all of the time, so he decided that a gas or electric fireplace would be the best choice for us which was totally great with me. I just adore the ambiance that a fireplace brings to a room. My pal and I ended up buying an electric fireplace because our friends told us that they wish that they would have bought an electric one because their propane fireplace put off a slight smell. My pal and I used the electric fireplace for about four months before I ruined it. I have no idea how, however somehow, I got something wet while cleaning the fireplace that I should not have gotten wet, and now it is not lighting correctly. I am so aggravated with myself, however my hubby keeps reassuring me that he will actually be able to service it for little to no money. I honestly hope he can service it because I adore my electric fireplace!

I am a southern boy at heart.

I was born and raised down south, and I cannot tell you how much I miss living down there.

I used to hear northerners talk about southern hospitality, and I never honestly understood what they meant until I moved up north with my hubby. There is really such a thing as southern hospitality, and I miss it greatly. There is just one thing that I miss more than southern hospitality and that is warm weather. I mean eighty-five to ninety-five degree weather. I thought that my blood would thicken when I moved north and I would get used to the cold, however I have not yet. My hubby prefers the cooler weather up here, however I just cannot handle it unquestionably well. Because my wonderful friend and I have odd temperature preferences, my wonderful friend and I cannot seem to agree on how often to use our cooling system. My hubby prefers to use the cooling system from May through September. I cannot feel it because it is only about fifty-five degrees in May, and the same once September comes around. That is winter weather to me. I actually do not want to use the cooling system when it is that freezing, however my hubby thinks it is warm enough to use it then. I can usually convince him to leave the cooling system off and just open the windows until about the last year of May. Once it gets higher than sixty degrees, he has to have the A/C on. I usually just wear a hoodie around the loft and try to stay warm. Maybe someday, my wonderful friend and I will agree about running the cooling system or not.

My hubby, Richard, and I have been trying to help our grandson for some time now.

Our grandson’s name is Jason, and he has had a rough life, however his mom was murdered when he was only ten, and his father, our son, is stressed trying to provide for them, and jason does not have much time with his Mom, so my hubby and I have been trying to convince him to come and move in with us, and after about two years of asking, Jason finally agreed to move in with us! My pal and I will be able to spend more time with him, so it will be wonderful for him, but before he moves in, my wonderful friend and I need to find a way to heat our basement.

My pal and I have unquestionably tried numerous odd things to heat our basement, and none of them have worked unquestionably well, then the last thing that my wonderful friend and I tried was a couple space heaters, however they did not put off quite enough heat to keep the basement at the right temperature, however i know if my wonderful friend and I would have used a few more heaters, it would have worked, however my wonderful friend and I only had two space boilers available at the time. My hubby found an electric fireplace that is supposed to heat up to 1,000 ft., so my wonderful friend and I are going to try that next. My pal and I have a one year money back guarantee on it, so my wonderful friend and I do not have to worry about wasting any money on it. Jason will have his own little home down there if my wonderful friend and I can figure out how to heat it. I hope my wonderful friend and I can figure it out soon.

When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming the world’s best chef.

• I used to beg my Dad to watch cooking shows with me so that I could learn how to make some of the “fancier dishes.” I never became famous by any means, although I legitimately adore to cook.

I would cook all day if I had someone to eat all of the food I would make. When my fantastic friend and I went to buy our house, the first thing that I checked out was the bedroom because I knew I would be spending most of my time in there. The bedroom in our property is not genuinely big, but my fantastic friend and I have plans to add on to it. I have only had one issue with my small bedroom plus that is how stuffy plus sizzling it gets in there while in the summertime. It gets so hot sometimes that is dampers my adore for cooking. I did not suppose that anything could do that! I told my hubby about it, plus she recommended installing a small air conditioning system in the window beside my refrigerator. My associate and I have air conditioning throughout our house, but it apparently was not doing the trick, so I decided that purchasing a small, window unit would genuinely help quite a bit. I obtained one the following week plus installed it in the window. I have had the air conditioning system for about two weeks now, plus I adore it! I can prefer cooking once again even when it is blazing hot outside! I suppose my hubby is pretty ecstatic that I prefer cooking again too because that means she gets more to eat!

I have lived in the same property my entire life.

My parents built the property about four years before I was born. When my father was getting ready to pass away she passed the property on to me although I was not yet married. I adore the property so much! It is large, but it still feels homey. When my hubby plus I started dating, I let him know that the property belonged to me, plus my fantastic friend and I decided that my fantastic friend and I would stay there even after my fantastic friend and I were married. It has been seventeen years since she moved in, plus I still adore the seasoned house. Last winter, the fireplace in the property started having some problems. My hubby tried to service it, but it was filling the property with smoke plus soot. My associate and I had to stop using it which was really difficult for me. I have so various memories of sitting on my dad’s lap next to that fireplace listening to him study or sing to me. My hubby felt so terrible about the fireplace that she tried to get me a current one installed for mother’s day. She had all of the plans arranged, although I believe the company came in plus for some reason said that they would not be able to install a current fireplace separate from doing a lot of labor which would cost quite a bit more than my hubby had to spend. I appreciated that she tried to get me a current fireplace. Last month, I found a fantastic sized propane fireplace at a yard sale in my neighborhood. I asked my hubby about it, plus my fantastic friend and I decided to buy it. I am happy to have a fireplace once again even if it is not quite the same.
