I think that heating maintenance can be incredibly expensive if you don’t have the right technician that knows what they’re doing.

Luckily my partner and I have a good service plan put together so we keep up with the maintenance regularly before we experience major issues or damages and repairs.

However, the maintenance plan can be expensive. Sometimes I would rather leave it alone and just call the technician whenever a problem arises, but I know that that can be dangerous and lead to the expense being a lot higher depending on what the issue is. It seems like heating maintenance is a bit more expensive than air conditioning maintenance, but I live in the South so I may just not be used to the prices. I’m glad that I’m able to afford the heating maintenance that my contractor recommended, but I definitely could be using the money elsewhere. Our heater works really well because of our maintenance, so I think I just need to be thankful and practice gratitude for it. There are a lot of things that I am able to do now that I wasn’t able to do a year ago and that says a lot about my financial growth. But it also says a lot about my personal growth because I embodied many different limiting beliefs that kept me in the financial state that I was in before. I’m really grateful for my coaches and team that have helped me on my healing journey to get to this point. It’s been such an enriching journey, and being able to afford things like heating maintenance helps me see how far I’ve come.

I have been dealing with a major issue in my home since winter began and if I have to talk to another contractor I am going to scream and pull my hair out.

My heating system stopped working right when temperatures dropped below freezing and it has been chaotic for me to figure out the problem.

I have spoken to at least four heating technicians this week to try and determine the issue over the phone because they aren’t able to come to my home. I have been having heating issues for a week and a half now and have been running my space heaters like crazy. Luckily I work out of the house so I am not in the cold all day, but it stinks to not be able to come home to a working heater at the end of a long work day. My coworker offered that I stay in her home until the heater gets fixed, and I honestly may take her up on it. I don’t really understand how people run these businesses when they refuse to schedule an appointment with me. I go out into the cold everyday to go to work, and none of them want to come to my home to fix the issue. I understand that it must be a busy season for them and the demand is high, however, I would at least feel better if they had me on the schedule so that I knew help was on the way. I feel like that is the very least they could do. I guess I’ll just be stuck until I hear back from someone.

When I lived up North for several years, I got very acquainted with having to maintain our heating system to make sure we stayed warm throughout the winter seasons.

• Having whole home heating for our family was a blessing and a privilege because I know that many people lived in those freezing temperatures without it.

Having a heating system definitely came with its challenges and I broke down a few times at the cost that it took to repair it occasionally. However, whole home heating provided my family with the warmth and comfort we needed after being out of the house all day long. We worked a lot and rode the public transportation system that didn’t have heating inside of it, so we spent a lot of time in the cold. Having heating inside of the house was a saving grace for us and I don’t know what we would have done without it. Now that we live in a warmer climate, our attention has been directed towards having air conditioning. We love living in the South though! My kids absolutely adore being so close to the beach, and I’ve been enjoying the beach yoga every Sunday morning. My husband works for a wonderful company that allows us to travel to a tropical location every couple of months. That was a major perk that led to us making the move because we were sick of the cold! I think that everyone should have the experience of living in the South. The people are all really nice because they are in warm weather all of the time which is a nice change from being around crabby people up North.

I hope that the frog lived a good life up until its transition

My parents called me yesterday to tell me that their air conditioner was not working. It was definitely not a good day for the A/C to break because the temperatures were particularly high that day with a heat wave moving through. Thankfully they were both at work most of the day so they still got to be in some cool air conditioning. They were able to get in contact with an air conditioning company who had an available spot for them to take a look at the problem during the afternoon. The technician checked out their fan outside to see if there were any blockages that were preventing the air conditioning from running smoothly. It turns out that there was a frog that was stuck in between the blades of the fan, so the entire HVAC system was essentially paused as this frog lost its life. I felt so bad that the frog was dead, but I was glad that the problem wasn’t too difficult and that they were able to get the air conditioning running again without shelling out too much money. I would have been really grossed out to see that frog, so I’m glad they didn’t video call me while the technician was there because I know my dad would have shown it to me. I have become incredibly sensitive towards animals recently and I don’t know exactly why, but I feel really connected to them. I hope that the frog lived a good life up until its transition. We all deserve an honorable death, but I don’t know if that blade was too honorable.

I think I have the best window air conditioner I’ve ever had.

This one to the air conditioner is nearly as good as your central cooling system, or at least it has been in my experience.

In fact, it has been so good for me that I’m planning to use it instead of my social cooling system for a good portion of the year. It cost me a lot more money to run my central air conditioning system than it does for me to use my window AC and so I figured that I can use my window air conditioning system for a good majority of the year. I just purchased my window air conditioning system two weeks ago and already I have fallen in love with it. I put it in my window every single day and used to cool down my house. We are during the summer months since it gets pretty hot here. After purchasing one of the window air conditioning units, I decided to purchase another one. I was going to purchase another window air conditioning unit because I wanted to have one for my upstairs bedroom and one for my downstairs bedroom. Those are the two rooms that always get the hottest and I want to be able to feel comfortable and relax. One of the window air conditioning systems is for myself and my husband and the other one is for our kids that sleep downstairs. They too have been complaining about the heat and I can’t blame them. It has been very hot this summer. The heat has been blistering, but I plan to change all that with these wonderful window air conditioning units.

When the heating and air conditioning wasn’t cooling like it was supposed to I was sure that it was because something was wrong with either my heater or my air conditioner.

The problem is going to be coming mostly from my air conditioner with it not wanting to cool correctly, but it wasn’t just my air conditioner I was having problems I couldn’t seem to get my hair to keep correctly either.

I found it very strange to have them both having issues at the same time. Normally when it comes to any sort of heat in AC issues either one of the other will start having problems but not both. Also both of these heating and AC units were fairly new and I have also had regular maintenance and service done to them so it just didn’t make sense for them not to be working. However I would turn on the thermostat and attempt to turn on the air conditioner or the heating system only to find that nothing would happen. I was really worried about my HVAC unit and I was worried about having to completely replace it. I knew I couldn’t afford to completely replace my heating and cooling system. Nevertheless, I got a heating and AC professional out here to take a look at my HVAC unit and have it checked to see what was going on. I was greatly relieved when I saw that it wasn’t my HVAC system at all that was messing up but it was my thermostat, that is what my heating and AC technician told me. This was a great sigh of relief for me because a thermostat was easy and way less expensive to replace than an entire heating and AC system. So I went shopping for new thermostats that day.
