I have never liked the summer months.

• Actually, I have always preferred the fall.

I like the beautiful color of the fall and the way the leaves change, but the thing I like the most is how cool the temperatures are in the Autumn compared to how hot things are in the summer. Really I feel like I could handle pretty much every season except for summer. The reason I do not like summer isn’t just because of how hot it gets, but it’s also because of how many problems it gives my heating and air conditioning system. My whole HVAC system gets put under significant stress as soon as that heat rolls around. It always causes me so much dread to know that this year once again my air conditioning system could break down. I don’t like having to constantly run the AC in my house anyways just to combat the constant heat outside. The more I run the air conditioning system and the lower I put the temperature, the more my energy bill goes up. I do have a smart thermostat to help with energy efficiency, but even that isn’t always enough when summer comes around. Really I prefer if summer could just be a little bit hotter than spring and then that would be it. Unfortunately, that is not how it works here. I know a lot of people that are really big fans of Summer, however I am definitely not one of them. I don’t like having to constantly call out a heating and AC worker to come and repair my air conditioner that is broken for the third time, and I don’t like not being able to walk outside without feeling like I’m going to sweat to death. I’ll be glad when it’s fall and everything is much cooler.

Are you aware that your air ducts can cause you to have allergy problems? It may come as a surprise but your air ducts can directly cause you to have allergies. This is because your air ducts if they are not cleaned off enough can harbor all kinds of dirt, germs, and bacteria. Then your heating and air conditioning system circulates that same dirt and bacteria around your house and out through your vents into your air. When you breathe in dirty air it can cause sneezing, in allergic reactions to the dust and other things that cause sensitivities from the things in the air. So what do you do to avoid this? The best thing you can do is to have some sort of good air filter. I would recommend a HEPA filter. A HEPA filter is like your standard heating and air conditioning filter. A HEPA filter is much better because it is used for places that need to be kept highly sanitized. This means it is even more effective at catching dirt and debris and then your standard disposable air filter. It was like this by design, with tightly woven air filters and fibers. You can easily catch the tiniest pieces of dirt, germs, and bacteria. If you have a HEPA filter in your home, you can be assured that you will have excellent indoor air quality, any indoor allergies that you might have had before, should go away almost immediately.

Yesterday I had the strangest thing happen to me. I was sitting by myself watching some TV just to pass the time when all the sudden I got a knock on my door. Now that wasn’t that unusual, I frequently have people come and knock on my door for something. It could be people that are delivering a package, or somebody trying to sell something. It’s not anything that I’m not used to. So I got up and answered the door. I went to the door and answered it. Upon opening the door there was a man standing outside my house dressed in some sort of heating and air conditioning uniform. He was holding a toolbox and he informed me that he was here to repair my heating and cooling system. He explained that my air conditioner had been broken and that he was here to fix it. I told him that I had never scheduled an appointment to have a heating and cooling repair done. However, he was insistent that I had scheduled an appointment to have my air conditioning unit repaired. However, I was positive that I had not and that I didn’t just forget an appointment. I again told him that I did not schedule any heating and air conditioning appointments. The guy was bored and refused to leave and kept looking into my house and acted like he was waiting for any opportunity to get in. I got unnerved by the situation and immediately closed my door and locked it. He didn’t start banging on my door for the next 10 minutes and demanding to be let in. I called the police and he removed him. I later found out that he didn’t work for any real heating and AC business, but was using that as an excuse to try to gain entry to people’s homes to rob them.

I don’t know how some people go along.

Of time without having a heating or air conditioning system. I think if I had to go a long time without having any kind of heat or cooling I would lose my mind! Especially with the area that I live in. The summer here can be absolutely brutal. I remember last summer my air conditioning stopped working and I was forced to stay in the hot house sweating to death. When the cooling system stopped working I did what any person would do and called for a heating and air conditioning maintenance person to come out and fix it. The problem was that I was not the only one that had an air conditioning system that was in need of repair, and in fact the heat and AC providers they’re pretty backed up with lots of people that also needed to have their air conditioning system fixed. It was during these moments that I was really wishing that I had a ductless mini split air conditioning system or a window air conditioning system. Any kind of portable AC unit so that I wouldn’t be frying in this heat. I ended up paying extra to have emergency HVAC services. I just couldn’t take the heat and felt like I would faint if I had to stay in the hot house anymore. When I paid for the emergency HVAC services they were able to send a heating AC technician out that same day and have it repaired, admittedly I do feel kind of bad for requesting emergency HVAC services when it wasn’t an emergency. However, I’ve always been sensitive to heat and I couldn’t take it without having an air conditioner.

Last year when we had a Christmas sale it was very successful, in fact it was almost too successful because we were nearly sold out of everything! Anytime during the big major holidays is a good time to advertise and have a discount in prices.

My brother and I run our own heating and air conditioning business and we have found that the best way to get more customers to come and buy our HVAC products is to have regular sales. Most people that I know love a good discount and so a lot of times we can attract people from out of the area to our Heating and Cooling business if they’re aware that we are having a sale. Apart from dropping her prices, we will also advertise more. Advertising also is a great way to bring in more customers because if enough people see it they just might be interested in buying something. My brother and I have been in the HVAC industry for 10 years now and so far we continue to go strong. One of the best times of the year that we have found to have a sale is during the Christmas season. As many people are going around and looking to get the perfect gift for their loved ones, some people just want to get a heating or air conditioning system for a family member or friend of theirs. We had some people that told us that they had come out of town to participate in the heating and cooling sales we had. Apart from sales, we often have freebies and giveaway contests. Everybody loves freebies and the chance to win something. Now combine this with good advertising and you can have a successful business.

For quite a long time I knew that I wanted to be the owner of a business but I wasn’t sure what kind of business I was going to go into.

It was a good friend of mine who happened to work in the heating and air conditioning industry that told me that I should open my own HVAC company.

The reason that he’s suggested that I should open my own heating and air conditioning company is because there wasn’t very many good quality he needed in AC companies around in my area and if he opened an AC business with me then we can set our own prices and rules and get way more business than the current company that was working in the area. I really like this idea and I thought it over more and I started making plans. I like the idea of working with them because it was something that most customers would need and therefore I figured it would be a good way to make a profit. I decided to take all my plans and put them into action. I did hours of 1 hours of research to figure out how to start your own business. Fast forward 3 years later and my friend and I had gone into starting our own hand and calling business together and we have been lucky enough to be very successful. We were able to outcompete the present heating and air conditioning companies, and provide our customers with a much more valuable experience.
