The pandemic really took a toll on the economy and has tremendously impacted local businesses.

For instance, there is a shortage of workers in the HVAC industry and there is also a shortage of materials. This means that customers aren’t receiving service as quickly as they should. In fact, there are some places where customers are having to wait up to a week to get their HVAC units serviced or fixed. A week is a long time to live without a means of heating or cooling your home. Thankfully, there are some portable equipment on the market that can work as a short term substitution. Can’t say the same if you have an issue with your roof. If there is a leak, it’s better to get it fixed sooner than later. Unfortunately, just like the HVAC industry, the roofing industry has been impacted by the pandemic as well. Currently, there is a shortage of materials as well as a shortage of labor to perform roofing repairs. The shortage of labor is becoming a major issue for the roofing industry. This means that customers are having to wait longer for repairs. In addition to the supply chain issue, the prices of the materials have risen over the last two years. And unfortunately, that extra cost will trickle down to the customers as well. The unfortunate part about this is, no one can predict what’s to come. If we continue on this trajectory through 2022, then the roofing industry will continue to suffer major blows. Let’s just hope that things return to normal sooner than later.

Since pets and children tend to eat treats off the floor or direct surfaces, it is always best to use non-toxic green cleaning products, especially if they are prone to eating treats off the floor. Cleaning chemicals and strong fragrances can leave behind a harsh smell. When you use green cleaning products, you do not have to worry about lingering smells that can have asthma, allergen, or skin side effects. Are you aware that you can clean your home using items already in your kitchen? Many at-home all-purpose cleaners can be created using everyday products such as rubbing alcohol, dish soap, baking soda, and vinegar. Adding essential oils to your DIY cleaner will give it a slight scent! The EPA only requires companies to include “chemicals of known concern” under ingredients on their cleaning labels. When you purchase green cleaning products or create your own, you have a much better understanding of what is being used throughout your household.

My husband blamed the lack of bees for not getting fruit on our trees.

• We had forty fruit trees, and it was the third consecutive year we hadn’t had usable fruit on our trees.

My husband kept saying he was going to ‌get the bees into our orchard, but ‌he hadn’t done it. I was going through a website that was talking about bees, and they offered bees for sale. They had smaller mason bees that came out of the hive in the early spring, and they fed from the plants and helped with the early blooming plants, to pollinate them. They had bees that came out of hibernation when the temperature was staying in the seventies. These worker bees helped to pollinate the fruit trees and vegetable plants. The company offered special bee hives for the bees and had a book that discussed how to keep the bees healthy and when to harvest them. I bought two bee hives and eighty bees for him for his Christmas present. He carefully put the bees in the refrigerator and set the desired humidity to keep them safe. When the proper time arrived, he put the mason bee larva into their hives, and waited to see if they were going to hatch. He got upset when he didn’t see any bees, but I told him to be patient. The same thing happened when the second set of bees went out. Three years later, we had so many bees on our property that he was all smiles. He still harvests the bee larva once the bees are sure to be dormant, and eighty bees have turned in hundreds of them.

After my breakup with my boyfriend, I moved into a super tiny apartment just a block away from where we were staying before. It was strange to just move down the street from where we created a home together, but I find a lot of peace in it now. My new apartment comes with tons of quirks, but one thing that gets a bit aggravating is the air conditioning system. It has window air conditioning units which means there isn’t really a good air purifier or dehumidifier flow going on. I have a small dehumidifier in my bathroom since that is the room that has the most moisture, but I really think I need to have a larger dehumidifier that is more centrally located in the house. The small one can only do so much, and I think that the larger dehumidifier would pull a lot of the moisture from the air that drifts into the rest of the house from the bathroom. I am planning to start keeping an eye out on deals on dehumidifiers because the good ones can get a bit pricey. I think investing in it would be really beneficial for my health and for the air quality in the apartment as well. It’s an old building so I want to make sure I am maintaining the air conditioner as much as possible while I am staying there. It’s a really different space than what I’m used to, but I am figuring it out and appreciating it in different ways all of the time. However, I am going to try my best to only be there for a year.

Our pet seriously loves the air conditioner while the two of us were in the summertime. I have never seen a pet who loves the a/c vents more than this a single does. It’s funny to watch him come in from outside when it’s particularly hot out there. He will run inside, shake all over, plus then head straight over to the a/c vents. Then he flops down right on top of a single of the air vents plus he stays there. I enjoy to watch him roll around because his fur blows around enjoy absurd plus he ends up looking enjoy he has some harsh bedhead or something. It constantly cracks myself and others up. Now, the pet loves to go outside in the sunshine, but whenever the temperatures outside get hot, he doesn’t particularly want to stay out for genuinely long. You can almost tell when he is ready to go inside to like the a/c. He goes over to the door plus waits around for myself and others to let him go inside. I enjoy the way that he loves the a/c. I am also someone who loves a/c while the two of us were in the summertime, plus I don’t even have a fur coat enjoy our pet has. Whenever our hubby comes beach house from work every afternoon, he constantly gets a fantastic laugh out of seeing the pet there on the a/c vents. He constantly says that he’s blissful that someone is enjoying the fancy cooling bills that he is paying for every week. He loves that pet more than just about anything so it’s nice to hear him say that every afternoon when he gets home.

It’s constantly so hot up on the top floor of our apartment that I’m particularly starting to guess that there is something wrong with our a/c system up there.

I have been noticing the higher temperature up there a lot more this Summer than I ever have before.

I guess that the temperatures outside are a lot hotter this year as a general rule, even though I still know enjoy our a/c should be able to handle the heat up there. I guess there might be something wrong with the ventilation system up there, even though I don’t particularly guess what to do about it because I don’t guess all that much about heating plus cooling systems. My ventilation system might need to be cleaned, but I’m not positive about that. I’ve never had the air duct or the air vents cleaned in the apartment plus that might really be a part of the problem. Maybe I should look into getting the air duct professionally cleaned by a single of the local Heating plus Air Conditioning companies here in town. I don’t guess what the troubles are, even though I do guess that the two of us need to get the situation with the a/c under control up there. It’s particularly hot plus I know terrible that our teenagers are really having to sleep up there in the high temperatures. I guess that they are legitimately fine, but it’s a proven fact that you get better, higher quality sleep when you sleep in cooler temperatures. Hopefully, the Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor will be able to tell myself and others of a way to get the temperature cooled down up there.
