A few weeks back I had went to the hardware store which also has portable space heaters for sale.

I was trying to find a portable space heater for sale for a reasonable price.

When I got to the hardware store I was surprised to find that the portable space heaters that they had for sale were a lot cheaper than I expected! I was thinking that I was going to pay at least one hundred dollars for a pretty decent one on sale. But here they had a very top brand decent one for 60 bucks! I am serious on that. I had to look at it twice to make sure I was not seeing things. But nope, it was really 60 bucks. I hopped on it right away and grabbed that thing as if I was robbing a bank! I was very happy to have got the portable space heater for that price and it does not disappoint. It has been very cold here lately and I was wanting the portable space heater to be able to reduce the use of my central heating and air conditioning system to save on energy bills. This portable space heater dare I say is a bit more powerful than what my central heating puts out! And it hardly uses any energy. So I can run it for as long as I need without worrying about high electric bills. I have actually been thinking about getting radiant heated floors and ditching my central heating system all together. But I can not afford to do so at this time.

Every summer I always go on a business trip for my job. One thing I have learned over time is that sometimes I do not stay in the best of hotels. And when that happens I deal with a lot of places that have horrible air conditioning. When I finally had enough of that, I figured out a way to beat the issue. That was to buy a portable air conditioning system. My portable air conditioning system always comes with me on all business trips. This way if I end up in a hotel that has horrible a/c, I can go out to my car and take the portable air conditioning system right out of the trunk of my car and then bring into the hotel room and have fully good working air conditioning! This method of doing things has been working great for me a few years now since I started with it all. I never had thought how great the invention of the portable air conditioning system was until I had these summer business trips and stayed in places that had bad air conditioning systems. The portable air conditioning system also comes in handy to have around the house in the event of an HVAC emergency in the middle of a heat wave. This can save me the headache of having to call for emergency heat and a/c home services and paying a small fortune for it. I can just run my portable air conditioning system and just wait for the next day or whenever a heat and a/c specialist from the local heating and cooling company can get to me.

Never believe everything you read on the internet.

I always try to research and keep up with all the heating and air conditioning technology of today and recently I came across something that totally was not true! I did believe it briefly though cause it could be possible the way that heating and air conditioning technology is going today.

They were trying to say that a talking smart heat and a/c system was coming! Now, this could be possible because we have computers that can talk to you as you use them. I believe it is called artificial intelligence or something like that. So putting that into a central heating and air conditioning system that is a smart heat and a/c unit makes sense to me! But unfortunately the person that wrote about this was one of those what they call internet trolls who just tries to stir up non-existing hype and then gets some cheap thrill out of fooling people. What a waste of time and it proves this person has no real life. But it was an interesting lie never the less. I really do look forward to the day where a smart heating and air conditioning system could talk to you and tell you when to change your air filter, when to change the battery in the smart thermostat and other things. That would make life so much easier for lazy people like me that sometimes forget to check on and actually do these kind of things!

The right attitude can get you a long way in life.

This is how I managed to graduate from heating and cooling school and get my heat and a/c certification the first time around. Many people who want to become heating and air conditioning specialists and have no prior background with it often end up having to enroll twice in heating and air conditioning school because they fail the first time. But not me! I worked extra hard and put everything into it until that final day came for the test to see if I graduated and got my heating and air conditioning certification or not. I now work for myself as an independent heat and a/c specialist and I am doing quite well. That was another situation where I had to put my all into it to make my company grow enough to be able to make a living. It wasn’t so easy at first. But I stuck with it and had a back up plan in place in the event it didn’t work out, so I was never in trouble or had to worry if things did not work out. But thankfully for me, they did! The moral of this story is that if you want something bad enough in this life, even something like becoming a certified heating and air conditioning specialist, you can do it and succeed if you give your all and never give up on it. And that is the real truth of it all!

When my central heating and air conditioning system took a dive the last time and I was without air conditioning during a heatwave, I was able to survive without having to waste money on a hotel.

The heat and a/c company was unable to get anyone out to me until the next day, so what i did was get my 2 portable air conditioning systems and plug them in.

I put one in the living room and one in the bedroom and it worked out great! I almost forgot I was without my central heating and air conditioning system the cooling was that good. This is why I think it is important that everyone should buy a few portable air conditioning systems and a few portable space heaters. Because by having a few portable air conditioning systems and a few portable space heaters you can save yourself a lot of money when in a heat and a/c emergency and no heating and cooling specialist can get to you that same day. I learned this by simply using common sense and keeping up with the latest and greatest in heating and air conditioning technology. Heat and a/c technology is always advancing. So by keeping up with it, I knew that today’s portable air conditioning systems and portable space heaters were that powerful so that you didn’t have to use your central heat and a/c unit. This also saves on energy use which you can do if you do not want to use your central HVAC system sometimes. I wanted to give you this great energy saving tip which is also good for HVAC emergencies!

It is a milestone.

I am pretty stubborn when it comes to a lot of things. Especially when I have sales people trying to sell me things that I feel I really do not need. Well, that kind of changed recently when my local heating and air conditioning company finally convinced me to get on their HVAC service plan. The HVAC service plan they had been trying to sell me originally sounded bad to me. However, after them continuing to pitch me on it I finally gave in and wanted to get the heating and cooling service plan from my local heating and air conditioning company. What changed my mind was that the first few sales reps that tried to sell it to me did not mention the fact that this heating and air conditioning service plan covered and protected my current central heat and a/c unit in many ways. The main being that if some natural disaster happened that would wreck it completely, they would replace the central heating and air conditioning system at no cost other than the standard installation cost of a few hundred bucks or so. That was what finally sold me on getting this heat and a/c service plan with my local heating and air conditioning company. It is a milestone. Because I do not buy things everyday like this. Especially when I am continuously pitched on it. So this was a first for me. But I am glad I now have the heating and air conditioning service plan.
