Did you know that you can sometimes sign up for workshops at local hardware stores or Home Improvement venues, and they are often tailored for women or people who are unaccustomed to trying to do DIY repairs.

Anyway, I recently decided to attend a basic heating and cooling Workshop that they were having at the store near my house.

The local HVAC company sent one of their top heating and cooling repair specialists to offer the class. I don’t think they really expect anyone to repair their own heating or cooling units, but who knows maybe I will be able to know what is wrong with my air conditioner before I call the HVAC guy the next time I have trouble with my air conditioner. Anyway, I was most interested in the AC blower. I don’t know why, but it never even occurred to me that there was something called a blower. Of course, air blows out of the ductwork oh, and that is what gives us our heating or our cooling, so I don’t know what I was thinking. Anyway the AC blower is very important because without it you will not have any cool door heated air coming out of your AC air vents oh, and the whole purpose of your HVAC system is lost. So how do you know if your AC blower is bad? There are some telltale signs to look for. If you go outside and your AC unit appears to be running as it normally does but you do not feel any cool air coming out of the vents, is it possible that your AC blower is bad. Another sign that your AC blower is bad is that your air conditioning circuit breaker keeps Tripping. Another sign is that there is a burning smell coming out of your ductwork. If any of these are happening, it is best to turn the HVAC system entirely off and call the AC repair guys and let them know that you think you have a bad AC blower.

Choosing to leave our state to move somewhere else was not a very easy decision.

Fortunately, I have a good job working from home so I have the flexibility to go places and still take care of my work.

The only thing I have to worry about is keeping cozy with good climate control and making my deadlines, all while taking care of my family. Well, we really didn’t like how things were going in our state even though that’s where all our friends were. We had family in the state we wanted to move to though, so we felt that it would be more important to be close to family and numerous loved ones. Everybody was excited when they heard we were moving nearby. The process of selling our home and getting a new one was a little bit stressful, but also somewhat exciting when we found the perfect place for us. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a home that is not crowded with neighbors. We can’t even see the neighbors from our home, that’s how private our property is now. The main focus I had after we moved everything into our new home was taking care of some renovation work and figuring out the HVAC system. This home had a pretty old HVAC system and some old and tattered up ductwork. I knew that the ductwork would cost a fortune to have repaired or rebuilt, but I consulted with an HVAC expert from a local control in the area. The HVAC expert said the best way to go was a ductless HVAC upgrade. He spoke of having zoned HVAC comfort, which sounded nice. I didn’t need to think about it too hard, we went for the upgrade and now we’re living in perfect comfort!

We have a couple of cats and of course, taking care of their cat boxes has always been something of a pain. Of course, we love our cats so it’s just something that we do for them and we make sure they eat well and always have fresh water to drink. In our past home, we had the cat boxes set up in the basement. It was always fairly cool in the basement even when the AC system wasn’t working. Of course in the winter season, we had to keep the basement warm by using the ventless gas furnace down there. Every year we would have the HVAC professional take care of that furnace by giving it a good cleaning and a tune-up, and he also worked on the central HVAC regularly as well. Well, now we have sold that house and moved to a home in the country. This home is rather large and the HVAC situation was quite different. There were a bunch of window AC units in different rooms, but the heating system was very nice. The home was already equipped with a nice boiler system and all the piping and radiators were in good shape. For the AC though, I decided to remove all those window AC units and put them in storage while an HVAC professional installed a ductless multi-split HVAC system. We also had to figure out what to do with the cats. We ended up using a huge closet off the hall for the cats to have their cat boxes and food. It’s actually a good spot for them, because you can hardly even smell the cat boxes, you just have to check on them regularly and make sure the cats have food and water, but they seem to enjoy the home just as much as we do.

About a week ago, I decided to have an HVAC expert come out to the house because I wanted to discuss what HVAC systems were available and if he thought it was time for me to upgrade my old HVAC equipment.

My wife said that the HVAC system was only 12 years old and it should last a little while longer, but I wanted to know for certain.

I realized that not all HVAC systems lasted the same amount of time depending on many different factors. One thing is how often the HVAC system has been maintained. If these systems are not kept up with, then they will fail prematurely. Of course, we always took good care of the system with regular maintenance, but I wasn’t sure how well the system was taken care of before we bought the house. So when the HVAC expert showed up, we talked about our HVAC and how it was running and everything. He inspected everything carefully. He said we had a few concerns. He spoke of the ductwork system first and how there were places were there were leaks. He said we could take care of all that with ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing, but it would be kind of expensive. He said we had to determine if it was worth working on the ductwork. He said if we wanted to invest in another HVAC that used the ductwork, it would have to be repaired. Then he told us about other options like ductless HVAC systems. I was so interested in having an HVAC system with different zones and high energy efficiency. So we made arrangements to have a new ductless HVAC installed.

I honestly never thought that our son would really try to get into a comedy career.

He always was a jokester, but I didn’t personally see how he could make a living by just telling jokes to people all the time.

I thought it was nice that he was always good at making people laugh though, but it seemed best that he did that for fun and focus on some other career. He took different comedy classes and he ended up getting into stand-up comedy. He went to numerous different clubs and various venues. He said how his first few shows were a disaster, but then he was able to get a good feel of how to work with the audience. He said the worst was when a venue he went to didn’t have working air conditioning. He was sweating so hard that everybody thought he was just too nervous, but he ended up getting the people to laugh by making fun of himself. You really have to be quick on your feet in a career like that. He did it for a few years until he was burnt out and couldn’t stand telling the same jokes to people. He said that it is very stressful when trying to come up with so many jokes all the time without just doing it for fun, and that’s what I tried to tell him in the beginning. Well, it was interesting when he said he wanted a career in the HVAC industry. He said it was all those venues that he performed at with no air conditioning that made him want to be able to repair those systems for the sake of the people, especially the performers. He said nobody should have to suffer without air conditioning while trying to focus on a show.

Recently when the weather started to warm up a lot, I realized that we had to replace the flag on our flag pole because it was totally worn out. My children asked if they could help and I told them they sure could. So we took the flag down from the pole and I told everybody that we had to make sure not to drop the flag. Then we folded up the flag carefully how a flag is meant to be folded. My children asked if we were going to throw the flag in the trash and I told them no way. When I told them we had to burn the flag in a ceremony, they were all stunned. They thought that burning the flag sounded worse than throwing it in the trash. I had to explain that the flag had to be disposed of in a dignified way because it represents freedom in our great country. My older son seemed to understand it as he said that it made sense. Well, because it was so overheated outside and we all couldn’t wait to get back inside to the comfort of the air conditioning, we quickly filled our burn pit with various burnable items and placed the folded flag carefully on the top. We said a few words and we all saluted the flag as it burned into ashes. When we finally got back inside after the burning ceremony, everybody seemed relieved because the air conditioning felt so nice inside. I even adjusted the temperature control settings to make the house a little more cooler. When I told everybody that we weren’t done, they all sighed heavily, but we had to put the new flag on the flag pole!
