Earlier this year during the summer and the beginning of fall, my daughter had some really bad allergy issues. She had never had that kind of allergies before, so I took her to the allergist here in town to see if he could figure out what was wrong with her. We had never been to the allergy doctor before and so we weren’t really sure what to expect. At first we thought that she was going to get poked with a whole bunch of needles and so she was really nervous about going. That is not what ended up happening at all, though. He ended up talking to her about different things at home And he asked us a whole lot of questions. By the end of the doctor appointment, he had given us a prescription but it wasn’t for what we thought it would be. He told us that we should follow our local heating and cooling company and their finger has to do a full work up on our ventilation system. When I asked him why in the world we should do that, he said that a lot of people have allergies because of what it’s in their ventilation systems at home. He said that if we could get rid of some of the dust, dirt, and allergens that were probably lurking around inside of our HVAC ductwork, then we might be able to alleviate the symptoms that my daughter was having without ever even having to do any kind of shot or medication. We went home and called them immediately!

My favorite coffee shop on the corner had to close down because they were doing some remodeling on the HVAC system inside.

I can’t wait for it to open back up again because I’m used to going there every single morning before I go to work.

I love going to this place, and I am a regular there. Usually I go there at least three days a week before I head into work in the mornings. I like to go in before anybody else is there. Usually I get my favorite seat next to the fireplace in the corner. The fireplace gives the whole coffee shop a really nice ambience, and it feels cozy and warm, especially on these cold winter days when the temperatures outside are freezing. Not only does the coffee shop have great coffee and donuts, but they also have really great indoor air quality. They never have the heating system turned out too high in the winter, and I have never noticed that it’s too cold inside during the summer. For some reason, the thermostat settings are always just right. I guess that’s why I was surprised whenever they closed down to do the HVAC system remodeling. As far as I could tell, there was nothing wrong with the HVAC system in the first place, but I don’t know what was going on behind the scenes. Hopefully they will be opening up again really soon. Maybe they were installing an air purification system in the building or something like that. Who knows, maybe the indoor air quality will be even better than it was before.

The kids didn’t have school on Monday, because we had a terrible snowstorm.

We had almost 12 inches of snow in less than 6 hours.

The snowflakes were huge and they stuck to the ground, cars, and houses. The kids were supposed to have a two-hour delay, but school ended up getting canceled. I stayed home with the kids instead of going to work that day. As soon as it started to warm up outside, the kids wanted to go out and play in the snow. I was worried they would freeze in the cold temperatures, so I bundled up the kids with hats, scarves, and mittens. I decided to go outside with the kids as well. I bundled up before going out in the cold too. I put on a T-shirt and a sweatshirt as well as my jacket. I had on a pair of knit gloves under my heavy leather skiing gloves. The kids and I played outside for a couple of hours. When everyone was cold, we came inside. I made the kids hot chocolate and we sat in front of the fireplace for a couple of hours. We warmed up very quickly. I put a couple of extra logs on the fireplace and the kids went upstairs to play for a while. The fireplace felt so nice and warm that I eventually fell asleep on the couch. I woke up when I heard the kids running up and down the stairs. I was only asleep for 15 minutes, but it felt like I had been sleeping for days.

Last year, my wife and I decided to get some chickens for our farm.

We got a total of 15 chickens.

In the beginning, will you put the chickens in a shed behind the house. The shed was old and falling down. We knew it wasn’t going to be a permanent place for the animals, but it was the best we could do at the time. My wife and I started building a shed for the chickens out of the scrap wood around our yard. The chicken coop came together really quickly. We had entrances in and out of the building and lots of places for the chickens to play. One thing that we considered was the fact that it gets very cold during the winter months. The lack of heat and warm air can be bad for the birds. My wife and I did not want to wait until winter to solve this problem. We went to a hardware store that sells space heaters. We looked at lots of different heating machines, before we made our final decision. We chose a radiant heater that can be installed anywhere. We chose the top of the chicken coop for the location of the radiant heater. We installed the radiant heater in the roof as part of the chicken coop. We made sure the heater would not cause any damage to the animals. We specifically purchased a heater that has a cool touch feature. Although the heater gives out a great deal of warm air, it is not hot on the outside of the machine. This makes it much easier for the chickens to stay safe.

Jack and I knew each other when we were in the Army. Jack only served for two years, but I stayed for 10. Jack and I kept in touch after he left the military. We visited with each other on a couple of different occasions. I went to see Jack on the other side of the country. The two of us went camping and hunting for the week. A few years later, Jack came to the military base to hang out with me for a couple of days. After I left the Army, I had to find a job. I told Jack that I was looking for something and he got me a job working with him at the HVAC service center where he is an employee. Jack offered to let me stay in his apartment until I found a place of my own. I didn’t really see myself working as an HVAC service technician, but I had the experience to do the work. I was a refrigeration and AC technician in the military. I took Jack up on the offer and I got on an airplane and flew to the other side of the country. Jack picked me up at the airport and we went directly to his job so I could meet the owner of the company. The guy was also former military. We talked about my training and the job and the guy seemed really happy to have me join their team. It’s been 6 months since I started working at the HVAC service center. Jack and I are still sharing an apartment, but we got something bigger with a bedroom for each one of us.

Friday was a very busy day. My day started very early in the morning, when I got a call from my boss. The guy wanted me to come to work as soon as I could. He had a call from one of our commercial customers about a boiler repair. I was the contractor that the company requested to complete the work. I am one of the only certified boiler repair technicians in the company, and I often get special requests from our commercial clients. I was happy to lend a helping hand. I was already on my way to work, so I finished my coffee and hopped into the car. My boss had everything ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I went down to the address of the commercial business. It was a restaurant that served seafood. They are located near the war. The boiler repair took most of the day to complete. When I was done, the owner of the business offered to feed me dinner for free. I felt like I was starving, so I agreed and ordered lobster bisque and a plate filled with fried shrimp. I sat in the front of the restaurant with my food and the owner brought me a couple of drinks too. My belly was full and I felt great when I left the job site. When my boss found out that the owner fed me dinner, he was jealous and suggested next time he would take the repair instead. I like having perks during the day from some of our customers.
