I have struggled with staying active for as long as I can remember. My brothers and sisters loved to play outdoors but I would hide somewhere in the house with a book and a juice box. By the time I reached middle school, it was obvious that I was developing a weight problem. I wasn’t eating healthy foods and the only exercise I got was walking around our school campus from one class to the next everyday. The bus stop was a few houses down from ours so I barely had much distance to traverse when I’d leave and return everyday. My parents encouraged me to join a local gym, but I didn’t want to workout or exercise. This weight problem of mine only got once I got to college and was eating the greasy food from the college cafeteria. But now that I’m living on my own and working full time, I’m taking my health a lot more seriously compared to years before. I decided to hire a personal trainer after admitting to myself that I lack the necessary skills to lose weight on my own. It’s great because my personal trainer made a custom workout plan that works really well for me at my current weight. He took into account my distaste for exercise and searched for activities that will get me moving while keeping my interest. That’s when he told me that I should try hiking along the hilly trails in local state parks. He also developed a nutritional and wellness plan that included a custom diet. The wellness and workout plan has helped me to successfully lose 30 pounds in just two months!

My advice to you is that you should never marry an HVAC technician. I have been married two different times, and both times I somehow ended up married to an HVAC technician. Living with an HVAC technician is really hard during the best of times. They are constantly thinking about work and what they have to do next. Not only that, but they are always on the lookout for how to make their vast knowledge store of heating and cooling systems even bigger. At least this is how it was with the two different guys that I was married to. I really don’t understand people who want to bring their work home with them all the time. Both of my HVAC technician husbands had trouble leaving their work at the office, or more appropriately, at their customers’ homes. We always seem to have an issue with them wanting to talk about work or something like that. I never really felt like I was a top priority for them. This was especially true whenever they had to go out on emergency service calls or something ridiculous like that on nights and weekends whenever they were on call. I think that when you are done with work, you should actually be done with work! It used to drive me crazy. I am never gonna date another HVAC technician for as long as I live, that’s for sure. I think that all HVAC technicians must be the same kinds of people! I really think that they are usually workaholics, and they can’t ever really think about or focus on anything else.

Over the summer, our air conditioning went out a couple of times when we did not have electricity.

We have been having a lot of power outages in our neighborhood, and we decided that we were sick and tired of being without air conditioning for any length of time so that’s why we ended up buying a generator. However, now that it’s winter, we realized that the generator is not only good for the air conditioning during the summer! It’s been really cold around here this winter. It’s actually been one of the coldest winters that we have had on record. The temperatures have been in the teens more days than I can count, and a lot of times we have been dealing with single digits. That’s pretty cold for around here. I usually don’t mind the cold so much, but with the power going out all the time, the cold has really been an issue for us. However, last week when the power went out, we did not have any trouble with it at all because we had our great generator. Even though everyone else in the neighborhood was freezing and trying to heat their homes with their wood burning fireplaces, we did not have that problem at all. My husband just went outside to the carport and turned our generator on. We were just as cozy as we always are. I am really thankful that we have that generator to run our heating system with so that we don’t have to worry about getting too cold in our house. I think we will always have a generator now, just for the furnace if for no other reason!

And in my opinion, that is not even a problem at all.

My husband really hates the loud noise that her furnace makes, but I love it. Every winter, I really look forward to hearing the loud whooshing sound of our furnace when it kicks on, especially in the middle of the night. I think that the sound of the furnace makes our house feel warm and cozy when the weather outside is really awful. I love to hear the sound of the heating when it kicks on. It makes me sleepy and it also just makes me want to hibernate underneath the covers in my bed. My husband just doesn’t like background noise, and that’s the only reason that he does not like it. Our heating system works completely fine. The only thing that’s wrong with it is the way that it sounds. And in my opinion, that is not even a problem at all. I personally love to hear any kind of background noise.I love listening to the rain beating on the roof, I love listening to the highway go by when I’m sleeping in the car, and I most especially loved my really loud heating system! When my husband told me that he was thinking about replacing our heating system, we actually got into a fight over it! I really don’t want a newer, quieter heating system in our house. When we were fighting about it, I made it sound like I just thought it was a waste of money. But the actual truth is that I don’t want a new heating system because I know that it will not be loud anymore.

Come to find out, none of us had been messing with the thermostat at all

When we bought a new thermostat a couple of weeks ago, we did not take the time to read through all of the instructions when we had it installed. We also told the HVAC technician that he did not need to stay at the house to teach us how to work here, because we assumed that all thermostats are made the same. Looking back on that, that was probably a dumb decision for us. We should have definitely let the HVAC technician walk us through it and tell us how to use the new smart thermostat because it’s very different from our old one. Throughout the last couple of weeks, there has been chaos in our house when it comes to the furnace settings. I have been getting mad at my wife, she has been getting mad at me, and we both have been getting mad at the kids. The settings on the thermostat have just been going up and down all the time and we are all accusing each other of messing around with the heating system. My wife will be freezing, and I will be burning up, and then we will get into a fight because we each accuse the other of changing the thermostat settings. Then when we tell each other that we did not touch the thermostat, then we both get mad at the kids and it’s just been a big mess. Come to find out, none of us had been messing with the thermostat at all. It just came with a pre-set schedule and it was running the way that it was supposed to. If we had only taken the time to listen to our HVAC technician in the first place, none of this would have been happening.

I actually have the money for it and I really wanted to get it done

I have been wanting to get a new fireplace in my house for many years now. I finally decided that this was going to be this year that I was going to get it done, and I was very excited to go to my local fireplace dealer so that I could get started on my project. I was pretty surprised when I got to the fireplace center and the entire parking lot was full of cars. I never dreamed that it would be so busy, but when I went inside I saw that the place was just about full of people. When it was finally my turn to talk to one of the fireplace specialists, I asked him what the issue was. I wondered why the place was so crowded and why everyone seemed upset. The fireplace specialist, who was also a certified heating and cooling technician, told me that they had been having issues with the supply chain. They did not have nearly enough fireplace inserts and products to meet their demand at that point. He told me that he would love to sell me a wood burning fireplace or a gas log fireplace at that point, but he just didn’t have any in stock to offer me. That made me really sad, because I had really been looking forward to getting my new fireplace. I actually have the money for it and I really wanted to get it done. Anyway, I just didn’t know what to do with that information besides just getting my name put on the waiting list. I just wanted to warn people that if they want to get a new fireplace, then they should get started sooner rather than later.
