The other week, I was promoted at my job and I was ecstatic! Not only did I receive a monthly cost increase, although I was given a private office space! The office was what I was most excited about because I’d consistently worked in a shared area with all of the others.

I was also excited because the private office had its own heat plus air plan and control equipment that I would have access to 24/7! One of the worst things about the shared office part was that there was no control over the control unit.

One of the upper management people had full access to the control equipment plus it was locked by a clear protective box so that nobody could change it. One of the first things that I did when I moved all of our things into the office was change the control equipment settings because I was able to. I adjusted the furnace up a few degrees plus I heard the heat trying to enter our space! As I was taking it easy at my desk though, I noticed that the furnace would kick on plus only run for a moment before shutting off again. The temperature of the office wasn’t decreasing just like I had set it to. I walked about the room plus tried to zero in on the problem, when I noticed that there was a huge reason the temperature wasn’t decreasing. The back of our desk was covering the air vent on the wall so the air couldn’t enter! This was confusing the furnace plus causing problems. Thankfully, once I moved the desk to a new position, the furnace started heating the room correctly again.

I really hate my automobile to be diagnosed… It’s a single of those responsibilities that I procrastinate with as long as possible because I detest it so much. It is such an inconvenience to drive our car, hassle with the mechanic, and then drive back. It doesn’t sound as terrible as it feels, however the worst area about the whole ordeal is talking to the mechanic about what I want taken care of. More often than not, I’m taking our automobile because our check engine light has come on plus I need to get the oil topped off or our automobile will stop running. One of the last times that I took my automobile was no exception. I’d driven around as long as I could before I thought my automobile would stop running due to the insufficient oil, as expected, the mechanic told me that I should have our air filter updated. I instantly told him no thank you, but he insisted that the air filter needed to be updated, then when I still wouldn’t change my mind, he took out the air filter and brought it over to me. I was shocked by what I saw! I could no longer see the mesh filter because it was covered in thick dust and gross stuff. The dust was really black plus it was hanging off of the air filter. The mechanic said that if I wasn’t going to update the air filter, I would have to run the automobile without a single one because there was no use putting the old one back in. When I saw the terrible condition of the air filter though, I agreed to have it updated. It was only a few extra dollars!

I do not enjoy taking my car to be taken care of! It’s one of those responsibilities that I procrastinate with as long as possible because I detest it so much.

It is such an inconvenience to get around in my car, hassle with the mechanic, plus then drive back. It doesn’t sound as bad as it feels! The worst part about the whole ordeal is having to explain to the mechanic about what I want done. 99% of the time, I’m taking my car due to the fact that my check engine light has come on plus I need to get the oil topped off or my car will stop running. This last time I took my car was no exception. I’d been getting around as long as I could before I thought my car would stop running due to the insufficient oil, but as expected, the mechanic told me often that I should have my air filter substituted. I immediately told him no, however he highly recommended that the air filter needed to be substituted! When I still would not budge, he took out the air filter plus brought it over to me. I was shocked by what I could see! I could no longer see the mesh filter because it was covered in thick dust and debris. The dust was entirely black plus it was hanging off of the air filter. The mechanic informed me that if I wasn’t going to substitute the air filter, I would have to run the car without one because there was no use putting the old one back in; Once I saw the bad condition of the air filter though, I agreed to have it substituted. It was only a few extra dollars!
