After an severely long week at work in addition to getting into a bit of a verbal altercation with my boss, when the weekend rolled around all I wanted to do was get out of the city for a little bit.

My fiance was already out of town on a contractor trip so it was all up to myself and others as to what I was going to do.

My buddy who lives outside of the city had mentioned at least a dozen times that he had a nice up-to-date home out on thirty acres of wild land in addition to I was more than welcome to stay there if I wanted to. Well, when I arrived it was already frigid outside in addition to I wanted to warm up. However I was surprised to find that there was no furnace in the up-to-date home no matter where I looked. I ended up giving my buddy a call to find out what the deal was with the heating situation, in addition to this guy ended up letting myself and others think that he had radiant floor heating. I hadn’t heard about this before, but soon I began to realize how nice it was, however the up-to-date home began to guess warmer after I got more comfortable in addition to it was nice to not have to hear the constant grinding of the furnace care about I have to at my house. After the weekend was over I was feeling quite refreshed in addition to I was ready to get back beach home in addition to attack the week in addition to put the drama with my boss to rest. I guess I will be back to my friend’s up-to-date home soon, I sure can’t get enough of that radiant floor heating!

Just around a week ago I ended up having a conversation with a stranger that was actually enlightening.

I was in the park on a nice and sunny afternoon soaking in the sunlight and eating my supper while on a cut from supper.

Midway through my supper a stranger came up to myself and others and asked myself and others if I had any spare change. She seemed nice enough so I offered for him to rest down next to myself and others and prefer the weather both of us were having. After a few hours of small talk and pleasantries I proceeded to ask the woman why she needed money and this old woman proceeded to inform myself and others that she was a former HVAC repair tech who ended up having drastic back complications and was no longer able to work, then because this poor fellow had worked as an HVAC woman since she was sixteen years old her back problem was not going to get any better without tons of surgery and therapy which she could not afford, and she was not in a state where she could get a current task either. I felt so terrible for this poor former HVAC tech that I ended up giving him half of my sandwich and even offered to put in a good word for my boss on a desk task where her back wouldn’t be much of a problem. It seems love these unusual encounters happen to myself and others more often than your average person, however if I am able to end up helping this former HVAC woman out of a terrible situation then it is no trouble to me.

The other afternoon my bestie called myself and others and told myself and others that the a/c isn’tworking… At the time I was in the middle of an seriously busy afternoon at labor and I still had an even busier hour half to my workday, my bestie works from our lake house office, so not having access to any a/c while in the boiling summer time season was not going to be ideal… She would be tepid and uncomfortable, and I would be dealing with a grumpy bestie, but during my supper cut I decided to call my buddy Lester to see if she was free, and lester is our buddy in our building that used to labor as an HVAC repair tech before she retired a couple of years ago. Despite the fact that she is an older gentleman she is still in actually good health and is constantly willing to help out. After giving him a call she said to not worry about it and she would help my bestie out with the situation. After getting back from being at labor all afternoon I came to find a actually delighted bestie and a well running a/c unit. Apparently it only took Lester a few hours to fix up the problem, and now she is going to be having dinner with us tonight! It was a stressful afternoon for both myself and others and my bestie, but I sure am thankful that our girl Lester was able to come to the rescue.

The other afternoon my more than nine year old asked myself and others if she could spend the evening at her best friend’s house… Her best friend had spent the evening over at our home quite a few times over the years, however this was going to be the first time that she was going to be spending the evening away from us, but when she returned the next day, this kid literally couldn’t stop talking about how nice the a/c was at her friend’s house, however the people I was with and I live in an seriously old home that was built long before state of the art s were around, so I feel she just isn’t used to having at her disposal all afternoon which is far from reality out at our place while in the summer time months.

She was going on and on about how nice it felt to come lake house to ice chilly air after running around outside all afternoon and she slept the best she had ever slept before because obviously her friend keeps it a cold 65 degrees in the room. I don’t care for to cut it to you my son, however that’s just not possible at our house, perhaps I can get my child a window a/c unit that both of us could use while in the summer time months, but I am sure that will pale in comparison to what her friends’ parents have! Oh well, both of us can’t constantly have what both of us want and I feel this is my son’s first lesson with that. At least she had a good time at her first sleepover!

My son was going to have a study night with two of his friends. They would also be spending the nights. Jake, being the perfectionist, wanted to make sure we had everything ready before his friends came. I did not see what the big deal was. After all, it was just three teenagers having a study night, but Jake had other ideas. He told me that we had to call the heating dealership to check our boiler since it was noisy. When he saw me looking at him like he had just grown a horn, he said he would ask his dad. When they said that being a parent to a teenager was hard, I did not know that it would include arguing about our electric heating system. The heater was always noisy, and we were already used to it. The boy went ahead and called his dad and asked him to have an HVAC tech come for heating repair and heater maintenance. The dad, oblivious of what was going on since he was at work, did exactly that. Lucky for us, the furnace filter had been replaced less than a month before. Jake also made a passing comment about us getting a wireless thermostat, but I told him we were not going to go on a shopping spree on heat and AC products because of a simple study night. I knew that he was right about the regulator, but we also wanted heated floors to perform the furnace/heater installation we had. Still, the financial responsibilities at the time would not allow it. The HVAC service plan did wonders because the noise was reduced significantly. The heating industry has all kinds of incredible inventions that we were willing to try when the bank balance allowed.
