Ed saved our failing Heating and A/C business

Even before my Heating and A/C corporation respectfully opened, it was already failing. I could not find a couple of great Heating and A/C pros who could come and work for me. I didn’t have nearly enough income to get everything that was necessary to work on air conditioner units this year, or the steam boilers in the winter. I was so angry and ready to quit within 3 weeks of getting my small corporation loan. The banker called and asked why I hadn’t put up a site, or done any work to build a client database. I should have known I needed to begin building a client database before I did anything else, even though I wasn’t very well prepared. I had a lot of small things happening in the process that had me angry and ready to supply up. My husband Ed was helping, but he knew nothing about Heating and A/C. Ed knew the corporation side of starting a business, but not the actual Heating and A/C business. Without asking, Ed built a website to tell people about our upcoming Heating and A/C business. Ed had an announcement about our opening, and how people can sign up for a free Heating and A/C service. Everything Ed and I talked about incorporating into the Heating and A/C business, he had in our website. It was the nicest site I had ever looked at, and it was informative. Within a week of having the website live, Ed and I had ten people signing up for a free service, and five others wanting more information. Ed saved our failing Heating and A/C business. Five years later, Ed and I had the top Heating and A/C corporation in our area, and I owe it all to Ed. It was his corporation expertise and skill that made our Heating and A/C corporation a success.

A couple of the Heating and A/C service techs in my corporation were actually dead serious about their jobs.

I was extreme about my work as an Heating and A/C serviceman, even though I wasn’t a serious Heating and A/C service tech.

I know you’re wondering what I mean, even though I can’t be serious all of the time. Every repair is either a game or a challenge, 1 I readily accept. If I can’t have fun with my job, I don’t want to do it. Max once told me that if you can’t have fun, then find another job, and I believed him. My first job made me feel angry and overwhelmed most of the time, and after talking to my husband Ed, he told me to quit. Ed and I were okay for about a year, if I wanted to change jobs. I looked online to see what programs they were offering at the local job center, and it didn’t take long to find what I was looking for. I told Ed I was going to be a Heating and A/C service tech. I have enjoyed being an Heating and A/C service tech since that time, however people tell me what is wrong with their boiler and air conditioner, and I smile and tell them not to stress. The entire time I am working, I am singing. I wasn’t an extreme Heating and A/C service tech, even though I was extreme about what I did. My current clients are always cheerful with the job I have done, and I have enjoyed myself while working. I could not have a better job to have, than being an Heating and A/C service tech who enjoys their job. I’m glad I made the job change when I did.

It was worth $20 a piece if it kept the AC components out of the local landfill

I knew if I bought window air conditioner units for every room in the condo that it would be less cash than buying a major modern central air conditioner unit. I was saving money on the air conditioner equipment, plus on our utility bill. When I quit using the central air conditioner unit, my utility bill went down by 15 percent. That was almost a 600 dollars a year savings, and the air conditioner units were cheaper. I swore I would never go back to a central air unit. I was told that window air conditioner units were disposable, until it came time to recycle them. I could not find a single recycling center that would take the window air conditioner units when they died. They either wanted them broken down, or just put them in their trash pile to go to the local landfill. I was defeating the purpose of energy conservation and eco savings, if I was going to throw the air conditioner units in the local landfill. I asked if they knew of any recycling centers that would accept window air conditioner units. He told me he said they would take them, but they had to go to the landfill. He didn’t know there were any local recycling centers that didn’t send them to the landfill. I called the main office for the Heating and A/C business, and they said they could haul them, even though I would need to spend my money $20 a piece for them to haul them away. It was worth $20 a piece if it kept the AC components out of the local landfill. I delivered the first of ten to the Heating and A/C business, knowing the metal could all be recycled.

Ed shook his head and I thought he was going to walk away

My husband Ed got to our condo just as I was ripping into the family room air conditioner unit. When Ed asked what I was doing; I asked Ed what he thought I was doing. Ed’s pithy retort was to tell me I was doing something I had promised I wouldn’t do. Ed asked me how several air conditioners I had already broken. I didn’t know how several air conditioners I broke, but this was not going to be another one of them. I wasn’t working on it to repair it. I was only cleaning the air filters in the air conditioner so Ed and I could have some cleaner air in our family room. Ed threw his hands up and walked out of the family room before I could tell Ed I was just cleaning it. When I got to the family room, Ed was looking through the website for the condo center. I realized Ed was looking for a modern air conditioner component for the family room. I told Ed he would be wasting his money, because the AC component was already running, and it was running quietly now. Ed didn’t know I was right and ran upstairs to check for herself. Ed wanted to know if I had traded one of the air conditioner units in one of the upstairs rooms, for this one. I told Ed I was just cleaning it. Ed shook his head and I thought he was going to walk away. Instead, Ed apologized for not giving me any credit, but he also reminded me it wouldn’t be the first air conditioner component that I had broken, even while cleaning.

My partner Tom isn’t the best father in the world.

I could not figure out why Tom could not be more civil with his son. Tom was always demanding and treating him more like his possession than a son. Maybe Tom was angry that his ex wife left him for another woman and didn’t take the kid with him, even though I thought he was an amazing kid. When the kid said he wanted to be an Heating and A/C service tech, I was proud of him. It offered him a job that would always be in demand. He asked if I could talk to his father Tom about joining his Heating and A/C corporation if he got through the courses and got his own certification? I approached my partner, thinking I was going to ask him if he would supply the child a opportunity in the Heating and A/C business, even though Tom was in a foul mood, then nothing had gone right in the Heating and A/C business, and Tom was trying to put out multiple fires. I wondered why Tom was the owner of a Heating and A/C corporation if he wasn’t cheerful doing it, even though I couldn’t dare ask him right then. I wasn’t going to talk to Tom until he finished his paperwork and got some food in his stomach. When dinner was done, his child took over. He told Tom he wanted to go to college for Heating and A/C and wanted to know if he could work in the family Heating and A/C business, for the 1st time since I’d known him, Tom was mute. Tom told his child he didn’t want him in the Heating and A/C business. Tom wanted him to work for a corporation that wasn’t floundering and could offer him a real opportunity at a career.

My cool neighbor Sam was telling me he needed a modern boiler for his boat.

Sam spent weeks on the ocean, both in winter and summer, as long as the weather was nice.

Sam had sleeping quarters for four, and two full bathrooms. Without the steam boiler and air conditioner, Sam said he would never get any sleep. Right after winter ended, Sam ordered his modern steam boiler. I wanted to know why he would order the boiler so early. According to Sam, it took almost three months to get his last boiler. It had to be ordered so it would fit in the steam boiler area, and once the boiler arrived, he would drive the boat back to the marina where the boat mechanic was, and he would install the steam boiler. I guess he had more fun driving back and forth to the marina, because it was something wee often talked about. Sam asked me to go with him when they called to say the boiler was in, and I asked my husband. Sam told me to have fun. I guess he was cheerful to have the condo to herself for a long weekend. At least that’s what I first thought, until Sam asked if my husband wanted to go along. His husband wanted to go, and he wanted his to have some corporation so he could get some time away from her, and Sam liked my husband. My husband asked if the air conditioner was working, and all I could do was laugh. She knew the steam boiler was broken, and didn’t want to be on the water separate from air conditioning.
